Some boxers have NOT been paid

Bunce stop talking ****. Why does the editor of a boxing website not have a choice in subscribing. This is the same boxing website thats banned from attending all shows by a paticular promoter......wanna guess who that is??

Perhaps he has an anti Fwank element to his work, but its for good reason the guy is a complete **** and its no where near the same level as your pro Fwank and biast nonsense you spout on a weekly basis.

Lets also remember Carl Froch was barley mentioned on your BBC show last week.

 

The rest of the post is bang on... it's well known that Boxrec News is banned from attending Allegedly shows.

They've also had problems with Boxing News too, for writing ''unfavourable'' comments regarding their shows.... think it was to do with the quality of opponents for the house fighters, though I might be wrong.

 

The fact for me in all this is that I am a subscriber, even when I go in Ebenezer Scrooge mode, I cant justify not paying £10.00 a month for a dedicated Boxing channel, however I do expect that money to be paid to the boxers that Im watching first and foremost, I don't know if there is any truth in this but it is slightly worrying.

its guys like Ian McNielly that actually takes the rogue stance Steve "tells it like it is unless there paying me" Bunce doesn't.

If Bunce is such a great boxing journo why wouldnt he do a story in the independent exposing a certain promoter for not paying his fighters. I guarentee you that would make the back page and a huge spread inside.

Funny how Bunce has previewed in great detail all the Super Six fights bar the final. Although he used his William Hills Podcast for that.

What is it? I don't use Boxrec.

 

Let's be honest, the channel was launched at completely the wrong time by a company noted for poor public relations, who have failed several times in recent years in business. They had basically piggy backed there way through the 90's and 00's continuingly dwindling finances on the back of the great boxing interest of the 80's and early 90's whilst failing to recognise why there product no longer had the appeal of the non-information age. It was a brave move and they shoukd be applauded for it but they lacked the understanding and affection of their key customer base- us. There inability to stand critism, interact with fans and recognise where they failed all those years ago are exactly why this latest project looks sadly destined to fail once again.

If FWP or queensbury is to ever lead the way again in UK boxing they need to completely revise the way they deal with boxers, the way they deal with the general public and the way they deal with boxing people and fans. I'm sure they can continue to stay afloat at queensbury if they get that sky contract back or find some investors but as a company they are a PR disaster and when your business is promotion then really the way your company is viewed ethically is absolutely paramount.

Good luck to them, they need to open their eyes and stop living in the 80's doing stupid interviews where they're wearing Armani suits and driving round in rollers like a boxing version of prince William and Harry , engage the public- accept the critism and do something about it.

He did well, better then David and his toes. effing mcneilley delighted at the downfall of Allegedly channel, home of britains largest stable of allegedly unpaid stars. Fight of the year? I agree Appleby vs Walsh, most poetic Mitchell vs Murray - effing Antony Joshua best prospect - no contract yet but he's going to be richer then any other Olympic rep. The top and bottom of it all is this. Steve is a journalist and the pre-requisites of the job are to be honest and have no bias in your work. I pm'd you about dodgy officiating for your show topics i.e Dave Parris consistently poor cards, you didn't even respond to me :-(

You weren't even allowed Frank's fighters at your shows at one point and have had issues with him litigation wise. Yet all that is swept under the carpet because your on his payroll now? You act like a 2-bit ***** and I don't mean to be unkind. Have some principles and some backbone and call things for what they are!

Boxnation has been cancelled by me, touchwood I help to bring down the 'Allegedly' empire. A promoter who does not pay his fighters should be banned from the sport until he settle's his debts.

Allegedly is a cancer to this sport, the sooner we are rid of him and that **** over the pond (Arum) the ****ing better.

 

I love Bunce, but thing that gets me is, he could not say anything and stay quiet and people would understand or get his situation as it's a awkward one.

Instead he totally ignores the main reason of the thread on purpose, a launches a attack on the same site & people his "boss" is trying to sue......
I mean come on Bunce, it looks pathetic stay out of it, we all know you won't speak up as you get chucked off BN, whilst others might call you a coward for it, end of day your trying to earn a living and not upto you to be Robin Hood.
