When asked if he would have beaten Ward if the pair had met

Joe smiled and replied - 'I think the way Ward fights would have suited me to be honest, I would have had too much speed and power for him - so yes, I would have beaten him:yep

    There we have it.

Irrefutable proof that Joe beats Ward.

    "The way Andre Ward fights"

Which one of all the ways Ward is capable of fighting is he talking about?

Was just thinking this. Great on the outside, great inside. Can fight dirty if needed, hits from awkward angles, good speed. Ward is a nightmare for anyone.

Joe Calzaghe had everything, like Ward. But let's see if he can go 46 double'0

Calzaghe beats the **** out of Ward by accumulation of slaps. Lets face it, Ward is good but Joe would **** him up

Ward is yet to face such a volume puncher, but there's really nothing that suggest the volume would be too much for Ward, he's more than capable, technically.

I think he would beat Ward too. But it would be very tight.

Ward is a very adaptable. he won;t be an easy win for anyone, unless they have 1 punch KO power and happen to catch him right.

He will if he fights the same level of competition throughout. Hopefully that isn't the case.

The only issue Ward displayed so far was a stamina issue versus Froch. I believe this would really be the deciding factor if he would face Calzaghe. So UD or maybe even TKO Calzaghe.

its doubtful that calzaghe has what it takes to defeat ward. and hes not faster than ward either.
