    The Ring has been crap for a couple of years and getting worse.

    For the record, Boxing Monthly has George Groves in their World top 10 at 168lbs.

    Ratings are a load of toss, quite honestly. Not enough writers and fans (including me) make an effort to see as many fighters in a division, so they just write about the ones they know.

    everyone in the top ten should be competitive with each other. I think Groves is a great prospect, but any decent genuine top ten contender would batter him (and that **** DeGale) right now.

    the rankings I do are a collective. its a broad range of opinions and i just admin them. thats why they work

    Sorry I wasn’t clear, Rob. Only the laughing face in response to Slip was about the rankings. My “rip into” comment was about DeGale’s and Groves’ placement in The Ring’s listing.

    I don’t really care for your rankings, same as I don’t care for The Ring’s. They can too easily be swayed by a group with a particular agenda. It doesn’t mean they’re worthless. I just don’t put much stock in them personally.

    fair point. says more about the poor state of the division. resume at the lower weight if recent does hold something in my opinion.

    The Ring has DeGale at #11 and ESB has him at #13. Is it really that outrageous?
