Could have a few more fights for lots and lots of $$$$$$ Morales,pacman,tapia..

just watched the barrera fight for 1st time since the fight.Great display by barrera i forgot all about him putting naz's head into the turnbuckle which was brilliant and Before the fight michael buffer gives naz the microphone to say a few words, Allah is the greatest al akbar.

I read that his hands were bad?

    Lost intrest?

    Did Barrera retire him?

He had too much food to eat and training got in the way.

A combination of bad hands, the reaction he got in his last fight, and a lack of desire. I think in some way his money and fame ruined him as a fighter.

Forget Carl ****ing Froch, Naz was nearly as big as ****ing Michael Jackson in the States (and nearly as big as Eubank around the whole world)...

  8. Lost his hunger but not in a eating sense;)

Ask about most casual boxing fans in this country and he was the fighter most wanted to watch. Put bums on seats as the phrase goes

I think in his last fight he tried to change his style a little, possibly to protect his hands but could have also been an inability to pull the trigger. He was booed with many leaving before the end of the fight, apparently... would be pretty confidence crushing when a year or two before you were considered the most exciting fighter in Britain(possibly the world).

He lost, his hands weren't holding up, he didn't look great in his last fight, maybe was fed up with his family guidance, had lost his original Ingle team etc etc

There were plans for him to come back, then face Morales and then go into a MAB rematch. Hamed was and still is huge. Love him or hate him, you watched. He made for compelling viewing.

Boxing is a much better place with him in it. You look at his record and you long for another Hamed. He fought them em all. Other than the last 3 or 4 years, he was fighting 4 or 5 championship fights a year!

The momentum going into the MAB fight based on wins, belts, ko's etc was insane.

Naz was fun. I wish he could turn back father time and give it another go.

Watched one of his ring entrances the other day, i miss them days with hype as they entered ring. I didn't like his arrogance but as Achilles said he made for compelling viewing.

Good point. Can't be bigging up that Muslim shite around in the states after 9/11

Another reason was...the loss made him doubt himself. His confidence an belief was ruined
