He said WHEN Ward is 36 not that Ward IS 36.

Joe could most def beat Ward. Right now I would pick Joe because I haven't seen Ward fight a fighter with a similar style to Joe.

Joe by U.D. 12 something like 116-112 or 115-113 in an ugly fight (like the bika fight) with possible point deductions on either side

Yeah right, Calzaghe would have found an excuse not to fight him, just like he found excuse after excuse to get out of fighting Glen Johnson.

Agreed. Although, calzaghe is a bit of a nightmare too for any SMW or LHW - speed, workrate, southpaw, awkward.. tough fight to call.

I wouldn't call Calzaghe a nightmare for anybody. He slaps fast. When he sits down on his shots, his punches are nothing out of the ordinary in terms of speed. His work rate was high, and he was awkward. That being said, an unfit Hopkins didn't have much of a problem not being hit by Calzaghe(less than 50 punches) A more fit Hopkins, Dawson, Silahk, Ward etc., wouldn't have much of an issue with Calzaghe at all.

Sorry, but Calzaghe can outwork you, out-stamina you, out-think you, out-wrestle you, out-cheat you, out-fake you, out-cheeen you, etc., etc, etc.

Hopkins had his problem with Calzaghe. That's why he started giving out before the championship rounds. Calzaghe would've never tired the final two rounds against a fighter of Froch's caliber. He has one of the best minds in adapting to his opponent, and would figure you out real good. Fighting in neutral grounds in America, the fighter who is more aggressive (Calzaghe) will almost always get the rounds scored for him. If the fight was in Wales, Calzaghe wins.

The only way Calzaghe loses this fight is if the fight is in California. Everywhere else, Calzaghe wins hands down.

Calzaghe is like Wlad. Every fighter that has walked under the sun would toy with him, aside those who fought him for real.

LOL,he was gifted when he fought Hopkins and he's letting that get to his ass.
Ward beats Joe no doubt. With the way Joe fought Kessler and Bika I do not see how he can beat Ward.

It's amazing that a guy who took so few real tests easily wins every hypothetical matchup. Ward is far too young, fast, and versatile for Slappy to ever have faced.
