If I was knocked down by an amateur and stopped legitimately and was a champion, and that same fighter was coming up the ranks, yes.. I would want to fight him. Or rather, I'd want him to achieve a shot at me so I can get back at him.

 

Different weight, no request for the fight. Glovkin would not want to go to SMW to fight Bute, and Bute can't come at MW. Is a fantasy of yours that cannot happen. Because there's no sense in it. Golovkins will give advantage to a huge SMW like Bute who right now is a polished Top fighter, a far better and more complete pro than him.

If there is talk of Bute vs a top fighter, they don't start saying how they want to see it and Bute should take it, they start listing reasons as to why Bute shouldn't or won't take the fight. Just look at the Hopkin's threads.

To be honest,if GGG moved up to SMW the wind from one of his punches near misse's would probs take Bute out.

Did he ever said otherwise ? Ps: Is the same bull**** the Froch/Ward fans pull out like "Bute will never fight outside Canada"
And Golovkin is the one who should call Bute, because Bute is the "name" the Top fighter, the bigger draw, they will say Lucian is picking on smaller guys otherwise.
