Question on the 4th Vasquez-Marquez fight

    Boxrec has them both at 125.5 pounds and fighting for the vacant WBC Silver super bantamweight title.

    Has the WBC got so corrupt that not only have they created a Silver title for more bogus sanctioning fees BUT they allowed their Super Bantamweight title to be fought for by two Featherweights?

    Im pretty sure it was for the Featherweight title.
    Also the Silver title is just the Interim, just changed from Interim to Silver

    Yeah boxrec have that wrong. It was a featherweight fight.

    I didn't know that. Thanks for that peace of info. I wish they would just call it interim because it should be an interim belt not second place.

    The title was only on the line for Marquez because Izzy refused to pay the fee.

    Sillyman took a swipe at him for that, accusing him of being ungrateful in light of the help that the WBC had given him over the years, building his profile etc.
