The best is generally considered Moore against Durelle, but I want to mention one in Britain, that few remember, not least due to terrible TV editing.

Glenn McCrory was being thrashed for five rounds by South African Siza Makathini in an IBF Cruiserweight title defence. But systematically, he turned the fight around to stop Makathini in 11 rounds.

ITV showed highlights of the fight, and choose to show the first five rounds and the 11th...

Johnny Famechon rallying in the 14th to stop Fighting Harada..after being decked and generally being subjected to almost the same abuse that he was in their first bout, in which Harada was screwed out of a historic third division title victory.

Arnold Taylor taking Romeo Anaya's bantam belt with a one-punch KO in the 14th after having been down 4 times in the bout himself.

If the ts watches any of these fights it should be this.

The arrogance of rothmann in that fight is ridiculous: it was essentially a repeat of the holmes v ali fight but with the difference being ali throwing a hail mary counter and ending the encounter when larry is showboating ruthlessly.

Jesse James Hughes vs the English propect, I think Adrian Stone. I was watching the fight and thinking "the ref needs to stop this ****, that Hughes guy is going to get killed". Then slowly Hughes turns the fight around and stops Stone.

Matthew Saad Muhammed vs Yaqui Lopez.

Seriously; nobody mentioned Leonard vs Hearns, yet? :huh

Although not exactly a traditional comeback (more like a one shot kill) Foreman vs Moorer is also a joy to watch

I could see Chavez laying in the damage pretty early on in that fight. Taylor may have been picking up rounds but Chavez was winning the fight, in my book. What he did was subtler, less flashy, but more damaging. I had the fight very close going into the 12th.
