Some boxers have NOT been paid

I suspect TBA's are being lined up now. The similie post is a reflection of how I will be when I read it. See what I mean, you know damn well the cards will be underwhelming well in advance because we as fans expect so little. With money problems I expect all his cards to get worse because all the money (if any) will be on his fighters fee so opponents will be cheap unknown pushover jobs. Couple all the undercard of what I said with a 75/25 (billed as 50/50) fight main event with a name. If the 25 looks like he might win the 'cards' might need looking at :-(

Yes, he won the title in some Zelenoff style fight at a gym.

Also gotta hope matchroom are in for the long haul because with there cosy relationship with sky and a strong stable (assuming they pick up theslack left ) they could bring in a new era of boxing fans

Excellent debate & valid points allround 'if' fighters havn't been paid all i can think is people on the inside track are being told to hold fire & money will be paid to the fighters concerned?

It seems to me this could be the reason for all the recent cards being pulled.Remember Haye pulling out of the original fight with Klitschko due to a back injury back in the setanta days?Allegedly it was because they knew they wouldn't be paid due to setanta going belly up.We may be seeing history repeat itself here if it's true you really feel for the fighters concerned tough enough sport sacrifices etc. & then you allegedly don't get paid leaves a real sour taste.
