Just looking at his record on boxrec. Prior to facing Brook, in 10 years he only fought 1 man with a winning record and that was the fight before Brook where he won a SD against Delgado.

On paper, he is pretty bad. He is a champion of journeymen.

Tough SOB though. Hung in there against Brook.

He's poor and thats why Kell needs to get a big fight in February, the fight did little other than let him see what fighting in the US was about

I thought it was a brilliant move by Matchroom to take the fight. To be chief undercard at the Super Six final is major exporsure which will do his career only good long term.

Yeah it was good for his exposure...but the opponent has left him open to a lot of criticism...had he wiped the guy out in 90 seconds with a 1 punch KO (see Thomas Dulorme v Cuello) then fans in the US would have gotten excited...instead he took a number of rounds and got caught more often than he should of against a very limited opponent...

It is sad that such big promoters have the audacity to put on such a co-main event.

It was a poor enough chief support, lets not promote it to co-main event.

Yeah it was a **** fight though obviously. Sky trying to force Amir Khan to praise Brook for winning easy was pretty funny too.

People were saying khan was being a bit stingy with his praise for Brook after the fight but I thought he was being pretty realistic.

It should always be co-main event. Calling it chief support is just a wordy way of saying **** fight.

Seriously? So it was a one fight card?

Wow, at least Showtime saw it for what it was.

Strikeforce then proceeded to put on a stacked card immediately after with 4 good match ups. I think they all got shown.

    R.I.P boxing :)
