What is described here is d standard in d sport , however , d ref fending McClellan off Benn repeatedly and standing in his way was not even d standard @ d UK .

There were some good mentions here .
McCall vs Akinwande was a nice comeback , Ramirez vs Rosario #2 was another 1 , Markegiano vs Cream #1 was another .
There was a similar thread which was more about knockdowns not long ago . Most responses there were not 2d subject but rather 2d more vague subject of this thread .
Frazier vs Buster Mathis also not mentioned yet . Louis vs Conn #1 :yep and of course Dempsey vs Tunney #2 regardless of what boxrec , mcvey , janitor , red cobra and My2Sense will tell u about it .

UK referees are as good as any world-wide.
The referee for the Benn v McClellan fight was French, you dick head!

Oh ,take a course in basic English you twat.

Back to the subject ,greatest comeback?

    Archie Moore v Yvon Durelle.
Moore [ 42/44 years old,] was down 4 times in the first 4 rounds, came back to drop Durelle 4 times for an 11th rd ko.

D meaning of my post meant that (even) UK referees r better than that 1 .
Hopkins , Ward , Holyfield , Holt & Bradley aside it is well known that UK referees r usually more flexible regarding d rules . It was more about fights @ d UK than d nationality of d referees . I thought/knew he was french , but that fight still took place @ d UK and involved a UK fighter (Benn) . Do u think it is a coincidence that many UK fighters use a blatant foul style ? Bruno , Hatton , Lewis (vs Grant) , Amir Khan , Lloyd Honeyghan and i m pretty sure that there r many more examples . edit : **** , how did i forget about Benn , Eubanks & Herol Graham ?
I will make it easier 4u : compare how many clean fighters u know from d UK in comparison 2 either USA , Russia , Mexico , Puerto Rico , South Africa , u choose & compare , d UK will have d lowest # of clean fighters per capita . Prove me wrong please .

I'm gonna side with you on this one. Sometimes frank needs to stick to what he knows best and we all know what that is of course, Hot Dog Manufacturing.

Whatever the **** that means . What are you saying? Are you saying that Benn hitting Gerald numerous times in the back of the head is irrelevant because he is a fighter from the UK (and fighterS from the UK ARE TAUGHT AND KNOWN TO FIGHT IN SUCH MANNERS)and that it's common knowledge for the boxing community to already know that? Or are you calling me an idiot for noticing Benn throwing so many shots in the back of Gerald's head which I think was the reason for the end result. What ever the case is you made know sense in your reply.

    i don't even know how 2 reply such n emotional outburst .
my post was about rabbit punching is common , as opposed 2d referee standing in a fighter's way .
don't know what's so hard 2 digest about it .

Really though, I get that guys punch while clinched, but did you not think that Benn was overly excessive ?
