Vitali has never been able to deal with dirty pressure fighters like Ruiz. Result would be similar to Vitali - Byrd.
Byrd is different stylistically to Ruiz though. But I imagine Ruiz would still trouble Vitali, he's someone who held more then the klitschko brothers
You mean he would win seven of nine rounds and then have another torn rotator cuff...? Byrd did well defensively against Vitali, but does anyone who watched that fight really believe his offense had anything to do with Vitali retiring? Vitali took the pressure from Sanders, Lewis, Arreola, guys who hit a lot harder, bring a lot more pressure than Ruiz and did well in every fight, win or lose. He looks bad against fighters who only try to survive, liek Kevin Johnson. Vitali thrives on pressure.
Ruiz is durable enough to be able to take a few of Vitalis shots and not get KOd early. So i see Vitali pounding him into the ground for 8 or 9 rounds and gives him a career ending beating.
hmm, when i came to the thread i was expecting a punchline. Something like... Ruiz would beat vitali ... in a FART FEST. Anyhow, if we are talking about boxing umm no. Stoney may disagree with me though
