Lamb to the slaughter. Bad match for Collins. G-Man had an awful lot of range on him, the counter hooks downstairs (Collins swung rights), and the heavy hands to actually **** him up a bit. Steve was agonized by the long-armed body shots of Kevin Watts...
Collins would try maul G-Man coming forward relentlessly and really attacking but i think Gerald a healthy Gerald may i hasten to add would beat Collins inside distance in a brutal fight. Long shots would be there for G-Man and i think he'd floor Collins at some point.
McLellan would have stopped him. Collins did not have the artillery to keep him off, nor the skills to outbox him. I think as brave and tough as Steve was he would have been demoralised and stopped.
GMan is the sort of fighter that you don't know if you can take his punch until it hits you in the face. So many things factor into surviving what his fists can do. Collins could maul and brawl his way to a decision but G-Man could box a bit too and if he got rangey, you'd be in trouble.
Although everything point towards McClellan by KO or stoppage,Collins could take a good shot.He would know and expect McClellan to throw bombs at him early. What if he took some and managed to avoid the rest?If Collins was still in the fight after 6 rounds I think he could start to turn it and maybe get a decision.
