pressure.ino vitali has a high punch output but when does he throw punches in bunchs??vitali just does not have that style to swarm and stop him he like wlad relies on breaking the opponent down then going for the kill so in that case all the advantages go to wlad.the only advantage vitali has is his chin..i look at vitali vs lennox and the more i think of vitali vs wlad all i can see is one winner..some may disagree tho..:good

 

:good:good:good Absolutely Wlad gives to much respect to his opponents if he did that against Vitali, Vitali would take advantage of that, it would be dirty bad to watch but Vitali would take boxing away from that fight and destroy Wlad, you can not beat Vitali with safety first style!!!

 

He can not box better than Wlad for sure, but Vitali would beat him in dirty fight, Vitali would make that fight dirty he is not afraid of getting hit and he would brake Wlad down, as i wrote Wlad just fight to safety first and gives to much repsect to his opponents as i see it he does not believe his own chin and is terrified of getting hit, Vitali stops him. Wlad is better boxer but its not all that matters in this match up at all!!!

And, to answer the thread, I think Vitaly will win. The main difference between both is that Vitaly is a warrior, Wlad is just a sportsman. Also, do you think Wlad can do well without Vitaly in his corner, motivating him?

 

your giving vitali way to much props.and your taking away some from wlad..wlad just hasnt came up against anyone good enough to make him actually dig deep for the win his style has been perfected to win without takin as little punishment and even if he is hit they arnt with the full force that his opponent needs to hurt him with..wlad has way way to many atributes than vitali.and if you think vitali is good enough to make it a street fight and win that way your mistaken..i would actually go out on a limb and say wlad would knock vitali down a few times aswell...:good

i think at any point in their careers Vitali just has the tools to beat Wlad, always...

 

Chef works for Wlad first so hes going to be biased (sorry Chef but its true)

Either way Wlad has been notoriously tentative with real threats, add to that with Vitali he would be forced to fight in range of someone that has almost identical dimensions to himself.

This means he can't just let 1 or 2 punches go and hold on.
Wlad is faster but Vitali has superior timing and fights much more relaxed which means he pockets the first few rounds rather easily.

Anytime Wlad wants to clinch he gets clipped with that left hook as well and gets followedup by a chopping right hand.

I honestly see this as a fight where Wlad for the first time ever can not keep someone at bay with his jab and once that happens he will be put in a firefight where Vitali has all the advantages.

(people like to think Wlad is the more skilled brother but being unorthodox does not mean you are less skilled)

Wlad needs to set his feet to punch, Vitali can punch stationairy or moving laterally and front and back.
His movement is also more efficient (not prettier) and his punch output comes from all angles.

Vitali just does not lose rounds, this would not be possible if there isn't a lot more to his game than casual observation reveals.
