I'd pay to help boxing, without any hesitation. I don't want to fatten the pockets of a greedy promoter who has clearly shown he has no intention of providing a reliable service for the fans. It's not about being tight either. I'd rather pay twice as much for a better service. Too many people paid straight away, under the assumption that Box Nation was good for boxing. It's not if it's a failure and right now, it's looking like a failure.
Are you not EXACTLY the type of person contributing to the downfall?!?! FFS this channel was launched on the basis that all hardcore boxing fans i.e. the type of geeks that take the trouble to post on forums, would paid a ****ing pittance of a tenner a month!!! The fact that there are many, many dickheads "waiting for the lineup" or some **** like that just pisses me off. Its very clear that if everyone does this the channel won't last even though it is the type of thing that most ACTUAL boxing fans have wanted post-Setanta. You all should of just paid the fifty five quid or whatever and got a good six months, at least out of this channel but most arseholes have been tight ****s and this is want will lead to BN's downfall.
No he's not, he like myself are exactly the people that are doing there bit trying to help it, my situation is a bit different because Im a subscriber but with Virgin so I can cancel if I want monthly, Sky don't have that option. Lilo your being a bit unreasonable tonight mate?
Help it by not not subscribing? EDIT: Again I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about the people who haven't signed up for it at all! I dunno maybe I'm just different but if it was me I would've paid sixty quid without ****ing blinking for boxnation. The problems are coming because people haven't done that.
I don't think that's the point mate, If you subscribe your tied into a six month contract, with fights being pulled left right and centre, with the news that the money they pay may not going to the boxers themselves, they have every right to weigh up the option and see if its worth it.
Lilo would you pay 60 for shopping from Morrisons if you did not know what food they sold? Boxnation has no divine right to expect anybody to shell out their hard earned money in faith. Read what you have written again and tell me you are talking sense.
Tbh mate I'm not that clued up on Boxnation (FFS I live in HK so I wouldn't!) but it seems to be me and I may be wrong, that there are a shitload of whingers on here slagging off BN who haven't even subscribed. If you've signed up (as you have) then fair ****ing play for helping/whinging but for Johnny Come Lately's who are complaining now when the **** is hitting the fan its just pissing me off!! Maybe I should just chill. Bottom line is that when Boxnation was announced I was astounded by the ****ing negativity surrounding it! Its like people wanted it to fail! *Deep breath smilie
Every time I buy some apples, I buy a bag knowing some will be below par, but most will be enjoyable. A rare few will be excellent. I take the punt because I like apples. How about that to further your analogy?!
I am tiddly and would like to work for BN. I also like apples. And Morrisons. Oh how I miss Morrisons. I still stand by my statement that anyone who didn't/hasn't subscribed to Boxnation is a) not a boxing fan; and b) a tight ****.
