wladimir and vitali could both cut to 230 lbs in about 2 hours in the sauna. utterly pointless and ridiculous idea

last thing boxing needs is MORE weight divs

Wladimir actually gains weight in training camp. He could easily make 230. And then?

A terrible idea. The Klits would be able to cut to 230 if they so wanted, no problem BTW.

But yet all the decent heavies seem to beg for fights with Dimitenko, Long, and Gabe Brown seems to be on the list of opponents of many former and current top contenders.

I agree a change should be made but maybe it should be look like this
    119-...............featherwieght
    120-129...........JuniorLightweight
    130-139...........Lightweight
    140-154...........Welterweight
    155-169...........Middleweight
    170-184...........LightHeavy
    185-214...........Cruiserwight
    215+................Heavyweight

Why would we split a division that we constantly complain lacks depth?

Sounds like a good idea, but i'd increase it to 235lbs for the heavy limit.....

:lol: Yep...the bigger heavyweights today aren't really that much bigger they're just fatter! They just need to get in better shape. Chris Arreola is trying to....at last!

I think once a guy is say 6' + and over 200lbs he can potentially hurt and KO any man walking. The Klits are big guys and in shape with it but if a great heavy was on the scene around 220lbs he'd be plenty big enough to beat them...if he had the skills talent!
