    As real as bum-slapping gets.

Serious question for a man of your unique experience Tubby. We've seen trainers slap their fighter's faces prior to fights and between rounds in an effort to switch them on. Can you see benefits in trainers perhaps instead using bum slapping prior to fights and between rounds?

Yes.... and I commend you on your question as it's an important one.

Advanced bum-slapping techniques can be beneficial to all: from the pro athlete to the weekend warrior. Most importantly, the full contact fighter!

You see, opponents can't tell if you've vigorously slapped your bum before fighting. Unless your adversary has been lurking around in the change-room beforehand or pulls your pants down during the bout, there'll be no evidence (if you get a chance, look for redness about the buttocks)

Bum slapping get's blood to one of the largest and most powerful muscles of the body: the buttocks. This can lead to more powerful punching, stepping (as in evasion or moving forward), and squatting (to hatch a large *brown trout*), amongst other things. There's just so many applications.

In fact.... I'd go far as to say: bum-slapping should replace "planking" as our new favorite fad. I'd bet that this fad would be here to stay ;)

Actually, journeymen like taylor are the life blood of boxing and the reason why many pro's get decent experience. He knows he is not going to win anything but keeps going for the money. Very few boxer's will stop him and he keeps them honest.

The guy's Alt is rather basic and infantile, but it certainly gets the job done.

One or two "not gonna bite" responses and then out comes the Toothless, smelly pom remarks by you fellows.

not putting you down my Aussie brothers but he's winning the war y'know

Madmac, maybe you could start a new thread for the brits? At the moment Australia actually has more genuine world champs (real belts) than england, england only having one current! We have Geale, Dib, so pretty embarrassing that for such a large population compared to us they can not even produce more world champs?

Not getting involved with all this Aus /Brit **** but the English and other fight fans of Great Britain should be really proud of its boxers over the last year or so , ( Granted Haye let us all down a bit with his showing in the Wlad fight) but plenty of English/British fighters have given genuine World title shots A REAL GO whilst the lads down under ain't really done a lot ( Greenie & Geale ) aside . :good

We had a few boys step up, Danny dawson and frank laporto both fought for legit super welter belts in the US and we had Geale and Dib win the IBF straps.

We had will tomilson step up class a bit also and Paul flemming comming along great. I think next year might be better, once mundine gets that 4th title :patsch

Are you implying that the geographical size of a country should translate to boxing success? I know Aus is big but its population certainly isnt...
