You don't need to beat anyone at 147 to be considered a viable opponent for Pacquiao - who's not even a natural 147 fighter. Peterson weighing a division higher than him on fight night, says so. His battling of Mayweather's young, hungry lion, Ortiz, to a draw, and recently beating most people's number one LWW, Khan, proves he's as good as anyone to fight Pac (bar JMM, Bradley and Mayweather).

As I've said, he's shown himself to be no worse than Ortiz.

Peterson is STILL underrated as a fighter. I think he gives Pac some problems and outboxes Ortiz in a rematch, he's very versatile and has improved significantly since his loss to Bradley.

It's still a pretty bad fight though, if it happens, which it most likely won't.

Agreed. Seriously these nuthuggers have no brain of their own and just defend their hero no matter what he does.

If Pac had have fought Ortiz there would have been a legion of Money nuthuggers saying the fight was a joke.

Both sets of nuthuggers are a disgrace.

Argument no longer applies since PAC won't fight at 140. He's a full on WW.

I'm saving that **** until after Christmas man, my time has been eaten up and I really wanna sit down and listen to it properly. If it's anything like his other two though, I'll probably love it.

Why this fight is a good fight and a bad fight.
Peterson is a top dog at Jr Welter.
Peterson is a bit bigger then Pacquiao.
Peterson is brave and wont stop trying.
Peterson is a good body puncher.

    BUT...

Peterson showed his limitations in the Khan fight. He struggles with movers.
Peterson lost to Ortiz and Bradley.
Peterson is slow and lacks real KO power.

It will be competitive at times but there is no way that Peterson wins. Pacquiao rips him apart with his speed and power.

Ortiz had more of a shot at beating Mayweather.
He was a southpaw, had tons of power, was fast and on top of that he was much bigger then Floyd.
