I scored it 116-112 for Marquez live.

Trying to be generous to Pac, I had it 7-5 (115-113) Marquez the second time, but the round I swung could easily have been a draw (so 116-113 Marquez).

Agression doesn't win fights, unless it's effective. And footwork has nothing to do with it, unless it amounts to defence and ring generalship. Pac certainly wasn't the ring general in there, and wasn't the defensive master either.

I thought Pac clearly won 7-5... Jmm looked great, and did better than everyone expected... cleaner punching clearly JMM. However Pac won the rounds, I tool the overall effectiveness as my tool... What shots would I rather take over each round...

Merry xxx mas bitches... Quit fronting, the right man won that... Truth is you guys are happy to see Pac is human, so you let a close fight get over your heads... Judge thus fight with your brain not your heart...

    Ohhh yea TS blows reindeer

**** off troll. Go away and learn the meaning of EFFECTIVE aggression. Then kill yourself.

Marquez won. Pacquaio is a fraud.

    Also, Merry Xmas bitches ;)

jmm has not shown in anyway that he has regressed that far as a fighter. him being a counter-puncher mostly in his career has helped him preserve himself.

wrong tally mate. 120-96 if you had it 10-8 for 12 rounds.

I made a thread not long after the fight when I rewatched it- originally on first impressions I had it 7-5 Marquez but that was when I was chillin with friends in a room full of *******s but when I actually sat down and scrutinized it alone I had it a draw.

I dont know if boxing fanatic is just trolling or something this christmas, but the 3 fights could have gone either way. merry drinking christmas ladies...

  11. marquez won this fight cleary. there's no doubt about it. he was controlling the pace and most of the action with his upper body movement and feints. if u havent boxed or dont box u wont understand.

Controlling the pace? Both Pacquiao and Marquez were more conservative than normal. It was a boxing chess match, people should see it like that and score it accordingly instead of doing it with a pre-conceived notion that one fighter should have fought it differently. And what do you say about Pacquiao closing out the finals rounds strong, was he controlling the pace then?

Both fighters fought catiously and used feints. You dont automticly controle the pace because you move backwards.

Marquez did enough to retain a title, not to win one.
