Thats another way to look at it, i mean with a gun to my head while watching the fight not knowing it was a fixed fight. If i was forced to make a realistic case for Pac getting 6 rounds i just would not be able to do it while watching the fight cause outside of some amazingly ******ed obsessive fans theres no way anyone would believe me.
i would have wanted this debate to be kept on with words but i think you are just hard headed or stubborn. i used it to prove you wrong that pacquiao also got some nice shots in unlike what you are trying to paint that marquez was this ghost that pac couldn't touch. you said that all of pac's shots were grazing but i can actually give you pictures where pac landed flush shots that caused the swelling. and i know that i got you riled up when i called you on your blanket statement before hand. sorry but you must get off your high horse and accept that you are not the expert that you think you are. these official judges were trained and were placed better than you in watching that fight. i understand that there are real robberies but this fight is not one of them.
actually there is. you have several close rounds in this fight that a wide swing for either fighter was ok. in this fight you can actually score that wide and it would still be a close fight. remember that you have to score a fight by rounds and not as a whole.
I have long accepted that you are a rabid Pac fan and not a boxing fan. You have no idea how to score boxing whatsoever nor how to score a fight objectively. If you think my heartrate wentup even by 1 beat typing with you you are sadly mistaken. Owning and correcting 1 dumb fan is not that hard nor much of a achievement. Difference between you and me is that im a boxing fan, you are a Pac fan. And ultimately you are whats wrong with this sport because deluded people like you allow fight fixing to keep happening.
Yes I do know that you score fights on a round by round basis, as I do every fight, but I cannot see Pac winning 8 of the rounds. I'll put it this way. There's a MUCH stronger argument that JMM won 8 of the rounds then there is that Pac did.
The majority of boxing fans had marquez beating Pac. Not only that members of pac's own camp could only give pac a draw at best. Thank god for the judges. I heard pac sent them gold, frankincense and myrrh this christmas. :rofl:rofl
Actually doing a quick browse through your post history, just completely confirms all my assumptions about you. I kinda feel like a idiot now wasting my time on you. You have a good one watching Pac, and whatever other sport you will follow once Pac retires.
i'm sorry that this debate had gone too personally. i just couldn't stand some people trying to say general things just to make them agree with them. i have repeatedly gave you some points that you won't answer and some points that you have stated are factually inaccurate. your resort is to say that one is a fan boy and you are a true boxing fan. i do not doubt that you are but you are now too emotionally attached that a mere thought that this fight was close, you would subject someone to a personal attack.
sorry for wasting your valuable time talking some non-sense about this fight. i hope that you would be comfortable in your thought that these judges were paid and you can score better than them watching in your own living room.
You made assumptions + got emotional. I never said Pac did not land ANY clean punches, or that ALL his punches were grazing. Lookup my history and find where i posted that even once? Pac DID land, and even cleanly at times. That said Marquez landed clearer MUCH MORE OFTEN. Look at the fight and look at Pac getting his head snapped back time and time again from start to finish. That said i stand by everything i said and what i said about you, looking at your history its not about boxing in general, its just Pac Pac Pac. You are highly emotionally invested in 1 particular fighter and lost track of objective thinking. Now trying to be polite does not help, fact is i gave NUMEROUS arguements, i posted statements from experts, i explained the criteria on scoring boxing. I approached this from every angle + gave opinions from lots of experts that have no agenda. If you want to cling on to Pac winning because he is your hero then so be it, but he did not win that boxing match simple as that. No amount of paid judges will change that. I think we are done now.
*******s can say Pacquiao won as much as they want. The Fact will always remain that JMM was the winner of the fight, close fight? yes, it was, but the decision was given to the WRONG guy, period. The true fans of the sport know this, and will always bring it up. The vast majority of the boxing world, experts, the media, trainers, and professional boxers all know that Marquez won the fight, period. Merry Xmas, cabrones!
which argument? as we have discussed earlier by daruf, it comes down to the scoring criteria. effective aggression and clean and effective punching imo si the focus for this fight since ring generalship and defense is a stalemate. a defensive fighter can be the effective agressor if he sometimes initiates that attack and is frustrating the aggressor not to repeat his attacks. pac was the aggressor and the officials have to judge if it is that effective. and in close fights, where this fight has several of them, it may sway it to the more active fighter which explains the card of moretti and trowbridge.
You can't beat the champ by winning 1:29 seconds of a round........you will LOSE....it is the WAY it has been done since the beginning of time. As fans, seeing the underdog being competitive when he is supposed to be dominated makes us think he won the round. That is the messed up scoring system used by fans to ***** and moan about close fights not going to the underdog.
