I had a trainer who I'd been training with for the past 6 months... he was pretty good... but last week he yelled at me in front of a bunch of people in the gym about his money. Saying I needed to pay him right that instant for the week and I told him I'd pay him after I went to the ATM which wasnt good enough for him so he tells me if I'm going to do that that I should go train alone... I got pissed at him and fired him. Was I wrong in doing that? Now the owner of the gym got all up in my face about paying dues which he said my old trainer told him I owed... Turns out my old trainer is airing my business to people all over the gym... So I picked up my stuff and left yesterday now I'm looking for a new gym... Really losing motivation I feel violated by what happened because I like to think i had trust in the guy but he wound up shitting on me as soon as I fired him... I paid him every cent I owed him and was a good boxer I listened to what he said and was a good guy. Now I have to find a new gym and trainer... anybody go through this ****?
erm pay your fees , if you owed him money and he yelled at you im thinking you've probably owed them for a while . I bet if you search you memory hes even mentioned it a few times to you. Your a tool pay your fees = dont get shouted at atsch
no phaggot I pay him on time on that day every week he was doing it to show off. as far as the gym it was closing and they were taking peoples money knowing there closing... my trainer told me not to pay. then when we had disagreement he told the guy i owe him money... the point is I'm going through a tough patch no gym no trainer... sucks
Sounds either you where late paying, or they are trying to cheat people. Why would you want to be around someone like that anyway? If you ever fight for money, you think you can trust him? Also you should'nt feel like that, if what you are saying is true. Its human nature to feel violated, but it only shows weakness, and in boxing or training, etc. NEVER SHOW WEAKNESS. Trust me.
^ my thoughts exactly... of course what i'm saying is true... the article is all over the news... John's Boxing Gym Bronx closing in google... my trainer said dont pay them because they're just trying to take your money and they're closing anyway. Anyway I guess the point is that I'm just feeling low, I'm without a trainer or a gym and not feeling too good just trying to stay motivated about my whole boxing regimen and keep my eyes on my next bout and tournament...
Nothing wrong with that bro. Keep your head up. Youll find someone that will be better than that guy.
Thanks guise... tryin my best... as a side note just got some grant pro training gloves... will do a review soon...
