Not sure in honesty...what happened to allegedly previous debts when the co filed for bankruptcy? i imagine o/s debts would be void and the game plan would be to just keep on with the promises to x y z boxer - that their money will come through if they stay with them, but they wont recieve a penny if they decide to jump ship?

Look at how many boxers allegedly has fell out with over the past...its all been well publicised yet boxers continue to sign with him, i only hope that due to amount of boxers this is looking to impact on and effect all at once, it will really discredit him to a point of no return..

run while you still can lads!!

you wouldent need to sack them, becuase if they went into recievership/dissolved then the contracts would automatically become null and void.same thing happend when Sports networke went under ...

isnt Anderson with some no mark promoter after splitting with Hatton?

So is it definite that some fighters from fish eyes camp have not been paid?

if so, i bet Eddie Hearn is licking his lips in anticipation of the inevitable :happy

As Nip said Queensbury is the future of Frank's promoting so to speak it's been set up for a reason and it ain't for his kids to develop talent on there own.

    Here's what I wrote;l

Exactly what I have been wondering.

The plan of action I assume would be to get Queensbury up and running. Sack of fwpromos and try and talk fighters into resigning on the promise of big fights down the road.

If I were an unpaid fighter I would take everything said with a pinch of salt and look for a move. You only have to see Khan and his bank balance to see what a good move does for your career.

    -

If he liquidates the company he effectively dissolves debt. Maybe HMRC might have a word to say and ban him from owning companies but effectiuvely that would be irrelevant if he used Queensbury Promotions liek I mentioned he will.

The company will be registered an a.n.other name but he will take up a role as a 'consultant' / 'director'. In short he will pull the strings and run things exactly the same as before.

The difference this time is he isn't going to be locked in contract with fighters. So he can pick and choose who me owes and try to sign them on Queensbury. He may also take this time to renegotiate contracts with fighters i.e lower Gavin's guaranteed fight purse due to poorer than expected showings.

That's my take anyway. without sounding arrogant or anything, I will be staggered if he does not do as I predict he will. It's blatantly obvious if you take in all the things that have happened and digest them.

He will rule his hand over his stable and pick the brightest prospects and biggest ticket sellers. Then sign them to matchroom.

If he pays his fighters and offers a signing on fee. He will still be better off than if he stays as he is and pays off his debt.

If he dissolves his company and opens up as Queensbury as I think he will it is immoral but shrewd business practise.

And that's why I think the plan will fall apart. Why would folk subscribe when he loses fighters and has less cards? It was an easier sale before this fiasco yet they struggled so I can't see it working out. He will fold and then boxnation will go.

DeGale hasn't even got that. He's not worth any promoter's bother now.

    Precisely my thoughts.

An expensive guy who is euro-level at best or WBO Interim at best. Sell's hardly any tickets. Thinks he is ppv and better than what he is so will always cause issue's.

I don't give Degale a good chance at keeping this gold-plated contract, paid or unpaid

Degale will stick with Frank, he has to.

    He sells no tickets.

For him to be successful as a ticket seller, he needed to keep on winning. He was getting bigged up as something special when he beat Smith and people would have paid to see his talent. Losing to Groves really affected his future ticket selling ability.

Degale is Euro champ though and thats a decent belt and a good stepping stone for world level. The problem is, he is in a very tough division. He needs good match making now. Pavlik would be an ideal opponent in America.
