I rewatched the fight and had khan winning it 114-112, my scorecard was the same as leddermans for the first 10 rounds i gave round 11 to khan and i scored round 12 even. I thought the point deductions for pushing was harsh but i also thought the knockdowns were bull**** as well
114-111 Khan I know he's a whining ***** and that's why people aren't particularly outraged by the decision, but I thought Amir won pretty clearly.
Can't remember maybe 113-112 to Peterson, could even be by two not sure but if i was ref i wouldn't of given either knockdown against Lamont (didn't feel either was legit) thus it wouldn't of been a 10-8 round so i don't believe on my card that it swung the fight that much it was nip and tuck.
yeah hes a dickhead and a ma, but if the fight was fought anywhere outside washington khan would have won. He has allot to work on he looked sloppy as hell in some of those rounds throwing arm punches,
i had lamont winning the fight by 3 rounds, i cannot award khan rounds for running like a coward.... miguel cotto boxed margarito on the backfoot now theres a big difference to what amir was doing lol he was straight up on survival mode. Khan by one round. The kd and deductions were bollocks. AK was a little unlucky but hardly robbed. I think if Khan wasn't such an annoying twat more people would be complaining about the ref who was beyond awful. He got three major calls wrong.
1st time - 113-112 Khan 2nd time 113-112 Peterson No complaints either way. Don't really see a controversy. The ref continually told khan to stop fouling, but he either a) ignored it or b) is too unskilled to stop.
Had Khan edging it. But his lack of dignity being a whiny twat, makes me not so upset he lost. You could saying Khan 'wanted to win' and Peterson 'needed to win', thats the difference.
