Some boxers have NOT been paid

  1. DeGale and the other Olympians will stick with Frank. It's the only way they'll get anything, even if they only get half of what they're promised it'll be more than what will come from anywhere else.

It's a bit like the Don King thing in the 80's, King might make ten times what you are making, but you're earning much more than you'd get elsewhere.

    He's got Jim Mac!..

TBH lads both neither Groves or DeGale are that good IMO nor sell **** loads of tickets but i stand by my first post Groves is lucky to have Booth as his manager.

Very, very interesting read. Some thoughts.

If allegedly has not paid his fighters it's a disgrace. Guys putting their health on the line need to see that cash.

Glad someone has brought up a certain corrupt **** who's last name is the capital of France. That **** always has awful scorecards and I'm baffled how something like this can just be forgotten about so soon after a robbery. How something like this can go on in this day and age. It's a farce. Absolute joke.

As for Bunce, he has never told it like it is despite banging on about it. See his hyping up and defending of David Haye, comparing David Hayes situation to someone who needs to "put food on the table". people are not that stupid. He has never taken criticism well. See the epic Rob vs Buncey thread a year or so back. Buncey may be a nice guy but he's no Robin Hood and for all the slagging off of Sky, the guy is an even bigger company man than the Sky lads. As someone has already mentioned, Adam Smith does not bang on about how he tells it like it is, he does not slag off his rivals, he just gets on with his job. I did not like Buncey slagging of Max Kellerman either. He should worry about his own performance.

As for Boxnation, when I heard about this channel I was surprised. If any sport is so big in this country that it can have its own channel, then boxing is not it. Things are bad economically, and every penny counts. Anyone who does not subscribe is not necessarily a tight ****. Maybe they can't afford it or maybe they just do not like the product enough. Boxing is not ****ing mainstream. How many of your workmates watch any fighters other than Khan and Haye? How many of them stay up until silly hours to watch some unknown **** fight another unknown **** in Mexico? Even a lot of people on ESB are not hardcore fans (I don't count myself as a hardcore boxing fan either). How long before subscribers get bored of seeing Cotto Margarito 24/7 which they can watch on youtube anyway?

Groves is lucky to have Booth, through he may have made blunder with the move to FrWank,Groves could sell a couple of thousand tickets against a decent opponent.I could see Groves - Anderson doing around 2 -3 thousand at a venue like the Olympia. To be fair to him the people who left before the Smith fight were the Burns fans who didn`t give a ****,there was still a good few thousand left.He isn`t a huge seller yet but has more potential then Deagle imo.

Don't think it requires a rocket scienctist though to establish that your missing a pay cheque or two...:yep but essentially a lot of the boxers are also managed by allegedly who will obv fill their heads with shite..."ahem, let me just write you an allegedly style cheque...it will clear...i personally guarantee it:good":-(

In fairness, BN isn't responsible for paying the fighters. BoxNation is responsible for Frank's woes or for keeping his company afloat. I'd also expect he's a private investor in the channel rather than FWP.

Do you need to list shareholders for a private company? Genuine question.

  9. I'm pretty certain you are in a private limited company, I've always been listed. But then again, nobody knew Ken Bates had anything to do with Leeds United (other than being an appointed chairman) until recently.

Obviously outside of limited company status you could be anybody, but I'd be amazed if Allegedly would ever consider operating as a sole trader.

  10. There'll be something on companies house in that case.

What use it'll be I've no idea.

Queensbury to my knowledge is owned by Franks son's. He will be the brains behind the idea and the sons will be the faces.

Almost like Brian Potter at the Pheonix club with Jerry St-Clair as the face. ''Pass me Zantac Kenny'', ''trust me guys, the pheonix will rise from the ashes''.
