Been a Walker fan for a while i remember when he was still undefeated and going places then he just kept getting stopped but always gave it his all in great fights

 

Joe once again you showed why your one of the better posters on this forum, Wilder managment team is killin me. They need to take the training
wheels off this year and let everyone see how good this kid is, if Wilder
ever learns to use his jab and height he's gonna to be dangerous

 

on one hand i think he needs more time on the other i think he needs to step up

i will say his foes though still bad are getting better

he needs not necessarily a guy whose ranked or anything but a guy who will go 5-10 rounds make Wilder develop a gas tank, strategy, tactics

also a guy who throws back or counters or sets traps, it will sharpen Wilder and improve defense

i like Wilder so far and he has time on his side

 

I think your right you dont want to rush him but his learning curve needs

to improve against better fighters

 

its tough to measure how good he is or what he needs cause he doesnt have many rounds or minutes for that matter

his right hand is superb and thats basically what we know

 

GTFO...Maybe in his first couple pro fights he was raw and badly out of shape...Now He shed almost 40 pounds and improved greatly...

Guys like Walker are tailor made for him.

 

He needs to face Zack Page basically.

 

I think he needs to go in with someone better than that, a fighter who will have a real go maybe a manny quezada? Very beatable but at least hit back

 

Or Friday Ahunanya, Damon Reed, or Jason Gavern.....They're all tough journeymen who can extend a fight with their solid beards, excellent recovery skills and no quit attitudes. :deal
