Joe Hipp, 43-7, fought Seldon for the WBA HW championship in the 90s and lost.

Recently, the best one has probably been Virgil Hill. Daniel Ponce de Leon is also pretty good, and is a member of some remote tribe that lives was up in the Mexican mountains. Danny "Little Red" Lopez was half Ute and just got elected to the hall of fame recently - I suspect he's the best all time who was generally identified as being Native American. His brother Ernie "Indian Red" Lopez wasn't half bad either. Of current prospect types, the best is probably George Tahdooahnippah, but I doubt he'll be more than a regional-level guy.

Best overall, I believe both Joe Louis and Jack Dempsey both had some Native American blood, but neither was generally identified as being Native American.

Others that have cherokee blood are danny lopez, jack dempsey, ernie lopez who fought napoles, ponce de leon and even heavyweight champ joe louis.
I also thought henry armstrong was partially native american but I could be mistaken there.
EDIT: sorry, didnt see brickhaus post, that basically covers most well known.

Joe Hipp is obviously the most recent, but I think Welliver might be part Native American, and he appears better than Hipp.

James Thunder was native American and he was a legit contender IMO.

Jim Thorpe was an all around athlete but by the time he started boxing full time he was already 43 or 44 and his liver was failing from yrs of alcoholism.
