Frank would need to let Nathan fight on a rival promoter's card. He won't want to lose out on that money, and he can't afford to get it over here with his mate Dave ready to call an early stoppage.

Doesn't Shumenov promote himself. Frank can invite him over. All these hurdles are BS to avoid making the fight.

  9. I wouldn't mind but Shumenov ticks all the Allegedly boxes.

    1. He's never been stopped
    2. His KO ratio is fairly low
    3. His style suits Cleverly

The fight does make sense for Cleverly and is very winnable, but if Frank can't get the upper hand in negotiations then it's doubtful that it'll happen.

Frank knows it's too big a risk.

Said ****ing ages ago Shuemnov is the one for Cleverley if he wants to start making a name outside the UK. The guy is not very good as a professional. All he seems to do is swing right and left hooks wide. He inevitably tires badly doing this. Perfect for Cleverley to outwork and outspeed, just like Murat was. He's better than Murat no doubt but still highly beatableas Campillo demonstrated.

I think he'd be better fighting Shumenov in U.S and bashing him up rather then in Cardiff where the Yanks will pretend nothing happened.

Even if he beats him in Cardiff the Yanks can't ignore WBO/WBA belonging to a Brit.

Shumenov and Cloud are okay but perfect for Cleverly to beat. Neither look special. They could win but Frank could have control of 2 or 3 belts.
