Who has done the most at SMW. Froch or Bute?

    Just a look over both.

The most accomplished SMW Froch has beaten is arguably Magee.
The most accomplished SMWs Bute has beaten varies between Berrio, Andrade and Magee.

Froch has only won vacant titles.
Bute beat a world champ, but not a highly regarded one having his first defence.

Froch is 5-2-0 in world title fights
Bute is 10-0-0 in world title fights

So who do you think has done the most at SMW between the 2?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For me I think Froch deserves the most credit between them as he has been willing to travel and has fought away 5 times in his last 6 fights. Also Bute was lucky to escape without a loss in his first fight with Andrade.

    But

Bute has beaten Andrade when he was a top 3 SMW, beaten Bika, Berrio, etc

Pascal, Dirrell, Abraham, Taylor and Johnson never did much at SMW but then neither did Miranda and Mendy so it becomes a tight one.

So who has done more at SMW?

    Im being harsh here but
    Pascal did nothing at SMW
Taylor was 1-2 in his last 3 fights and has done nothing at SMW
Dirrell has done nothing at SMW, his best win is Oganov
    Kessler beat Froch
Abraham was coming off a loss and has done nothing at SMW
Johnson has done nothing at SMW

Magee is the most prime accomplished SMW Froch has beaten and Bute has beaten him also. R Reid was just a shell when Froch beat him.
Bute has also beaten Bika and Andrade when Andrade was a top 3 SMW. Froch has beaten anyone rated that high. Bute has also beaten Johnson and Berrio. Both Andrade and Berrio hold wins over Steiglitz the current WBO SMW champ

Clearly Froch, but when Bute beats him, which he will, it won't matter.

    why do you say clearly?
I admit Froch has been on the road, but opponents is what counts and Froch hasnt beaten anyone as highly rated at SMW as what Bute has in #3 Andrade

You can rip holes in Froch's resume without difficulty, but I feel that Taylor, Pascal and Dirrell are better wins (on paper) than Bute has had, although I feel Dirrell beat Froch in reality and Taylor was nearly there. Also, the Reid win doesn't exactly hurt the argument.

Edit: Forgot about Abraham, although I hear your soon-to-be argument that Abraham hasn't achieved anything at SMW.

Bute only beat the 20 count against Andrade ..Talk about corruption had that been officiated correctly Bute would have had the 1 loss .

I agree with you. I think Bute beat the count but anywhere else that fight would have been stopped.
Still Bute on paper has the win and did clearly win a return. Many felt Froch lost to Dirrell and some even think to Johnson.
If you are looking at it all that way, you could say Froch has only sparkled in one world title fight. Bute has in a few

Bute,no doubt, and i've been saying that even before Froch lost to Ward. There are a lot of ******s who think Super6 was a legitim tournament with the best 6 fighters though,so that's why they fail to see that Bute has a better resume than most of the "super6" fighters except Kessler and now Ward. And they both have no shame in ducking Bute, maybe they know something their fanboys don't....

Froch for me, Bute's best win was over a bad shoulder suffering 42 year old Johnson.

Anyone picking Bute just comes across as a mis-guided fan boy IMO.

    His best win is Johnson.

After that you have to wade through Andrade, who you could say beat him once.

Long time solid contender, Sakio Bika.

Mendy is nothing special, doubt he'll ever be a belt holder.

    Jessie Brinkley, are you serious?!

Magee is past it, and he wasn't world class to begin with. Froch beat a better version.

I nearly forgot ATG gatekeeper, Edison Miranda.

and what's best win for Froch?Dirrell,Taylor or Abraham?all 3 are bad jokes compared to Andrade or Bika.Andrade and Bika would beat Froch,Bute will retire him.
