    yeah thats true although i think that really started in the tyson fight and developed more and more to the point where its become a detriment to his talent

    I gotta give that title to Iron Mike Tyson, fighting at 5 foot 10 1/2 and with a 71 inch reach you HAVE to go inside to be effective. IMO Iron Mike is one of the most devestating punchers to ever live. 90% of the fighters he fought had a height and reach advantage. So what do you do to be effective? go inside and he is one of the best at it!

    Surprised Dempsey hasn't been mentioned yet. I believe he has more 1st round KO's than any other heavyweight in history.

    That said Duran's my first pick but on a short list, Dempsey would make the top 10 maybe even top 5. The best single inside fighting I've ever seen was Duran against Barkley. it was a clinic on how to stay on the inside, avoid getting hit or absorbing the punches you do get hit with, and firing back. I absolutely love watching that fight.

    he was actually not as good on the inside as one might think.he was more get inside,explode and do it again.holyfield killed him on the inside
