Who has done the most at SMW. Froch or Bute?

Bute hasn't beaten anyone. But he looks more impressive doing it. Froch lost to Ward, Kessler, Dirrell in my book, and got a gift from Taylor gassing. Otherwise he would have lost that fight too. Johnson slapped upside the head repeatedly. At this point you have to go with Froch though, just for having put it all on the line in so many big fights, and almost always away from home. Bute will beat him though, and I think knock him out.

 

I can see what the tread starter is going at but I say Froch.

But to all you suckers bitching about Bute's first fight against Andrade.
They had a rematch to sort it out, here's a resume. Take a good look at some beautiful boxing

He redeemed himself in the rematch but he should have lost that first fight .

Froch fought better fighters, whether they were terribly accomplished at SMW or not. Bute has had a decent run, but doesn't quite compete with Ward, Froch, and Kessler resume-wise. Skill-wise, he has the capability to beat some of these fighters. That would give him a big boost.

 

Froch without a doubt.

 

Froch. There is nowhere to hide for Bute now though. If he ducks Ward he will be exposed as a fraud.

Bute beat a better version of Magee. Much more sound defensively, less of a wild thing offensively. Leaping, reaching jabs with chin exposed can be seen in the Froch fight, not in the Bute fight.

Yet, most Ward & Froch fans will get hung up on the first fight completely disregarding what Bute was able to achieve in the second one i.e. KO'ing a top 5 SMW that had never been stopped.

...right now? Froch, even though he struggled with no-resume Dirrell & shot gassing Taylor.

We'll see where both resumes are at same time next year now that the S6 is over. :smoke

Bailey is clear a ******ed european fool in which the only reason he's saying bute resumes is better then froch resume is cause he's trying to make a case bute beats better fighters then froch in which ward should fight him. atsch Anybody with a f4cking brain knows froch resumes is better then bute resumes and it's not even close. Dirrell would have beaten either andrade or bika same with pascal. And bailey saying most thought dirrell beat froch? Well most thought froch beat kessler.
