Froch has fought the better fighters, but I think he came out of it looking worse that Bute has. Although Bute struggled against Andrade, and I dont rate Andrade at all as anything other than a punching bag. Wouldn't mind seeing them fight.
Brilliant rundown. Let's face it. By Baileys logic Larry Holmes suffered a devastating and humbling defeat at the hands of Michael Spinks who had done exactly nothing at HW. Same goes for Hagler when he lost to Leonard. And so on..... Lots of terrible losses if one goes by Bailey's logic of exclusively looking at what so and so did at that particular weight.
I understand what you trying to say, but look at this at SMW Calzaghe beat Veit who beat Braehmer who won a LHW title Calzaghe beat Sheika who beat Johnson who won a LHW title Calzaghe beat Starie who beat Woods who won a LHW title Calzaghe beat Mitchell who drew with Girard who won a LHW title Some fighters cant seem to cut it at a certain weight
not many boxers are "accomplished" at SMW as its been a lackluster division devoid of talent not many stayed around there for good reason therefore pin pointing that weight class is NOT a good thing !!! look at the two long time champs in Joe and Ottke = wasted careers Froch has beaten better fighters than bute has- thats all that matters so the answer is froch
so how would you account for the fact that glen johnson was competitive with the worlds best at 160 and 175 but has repeatedly had the **** kicked out of him at 168? how would you account for pascal doing nothing at 168 but being world class at 175? how would you account for jermain taylor being a world class operator at 160 but being a punch bag at 168?
its hard to assess who has done most at 168 between froch and bute. the american public only wish to hype a eurobum up when it suits their agenda to exagerate the success of an american fighter, eg jirov, froch, clinton woods etc :deal look how highly the gullable, delusional ward fanboys are now rating their hero after a victory over froch, but why? :huh the blueprint to beat froch was already laid down for ward by dirrell and jermain taylor. dirrell boxed froch's head off, but because dirrell fought like such a cowardly ***** in nottingham, he didn't get the decision. taylor did the same job as ward on froch but tired similarly to ward in the last 2 rounds and ended up losing with 25 seconds left. froch's plodding limitations were already completely exposed. what are froch's best wins at 168? pts v pascal - pascal achieved nothing at 168 pts v abraham - abraham is very limited with just a supermid win v 168 punchbag jermain taylor, abraham has been badly schooled and exposed by dirrell and ward. pts v johnson - johnson is nothing more than a 168 laughing stock after being schooled at the weight by the likes of kiwanuka, sosa, ottke, vanderpool, branco, sheika etc now look at the andre ward fanboys trying to hype him up like the 2nd coming of floyd mayweather for a 115-113 win over a limited plodder like carl froch nut:rofl:atsch
