why has ajose olusegun flown under the radar for the past 8 years?

Read about that, I heard a Nigerian official linked to the WBC worked hard to get Ajose an eliminator before he died???

Signing with Lou DiBella was a shrewd move, does he regret not making the move sooner??

 

Morales begged the WBC to allow him to make a voluntary defence against Guerrero and they caved in especially as those in the know realise how powerful Mexico is in that organisation but they thankfully ordered that the winner must face Ajose.

 

So that's why he's pulled out against Danny Garcia then, Guerrero wins that match up then drops title and moves up to middleweight .

 

Yeah with hindsight but one would have thought the likes of Frank Maloney in the UK could have made things happen.

 

Frank doesn't care for fighters who don't sell tickets Olu, I know this from experience mate..

 

You would have thought, but sadly the business side of boxing does not help certain fighters and I imagine he decided that other fighters were more marketable??

No fault of Ajose, but this often happens.

 

I think to be fair that he just had some sort of surgery apparently. Garcia, Guerrero, Morales et al, I really don't care for the last 6 years I have known he can take anyone at 140 pounds.

Unfortunately people don't realise how the business side of boxing messes some fighters around especially those viewed as being to good. The stories I could tell you. Only the strong survive in this game.

 

Had he got him the world title especially the WBC belt the money and tickets would have come even against Brits like Khan, McCloskey etc

 

Just goes to show how time flies. I remember going to check on Hatton and Tyzu at their fight in Manchester several years ago.

 

Now that's a fight that does interest me strangely enough, Khan vs Ajose :think I actually think Ajose could win that fight.

As for Maloney he drags fighters out through tedious long journeys to world titles, it's something that really pisses me with him especially Jamie Moore who should of had a world title fight and never did cos he ****ed him around at domestic/european level for far to long.
