2011 Fighter of the year: Andre Ward

Thought it should have very clearly gone to Donaire. That being said Ward would have been my number 2 pick, amazing year for him.

 

Pacquiao and Cotto do not belong on any honorable mention list.

 

Ward deserved clearly.

Bull ****! More home town cooking! Andre Ward should not be fighter of the year. The p4P KIng Manny Pacquiao is the best and should be recognized. He has done what no other fighter has done in boxing. All of you idiots and sports writers have been shooting at him with every insult to make him into nothing, but he has kicked everyonesd ass. He beats the whinning crybaby JMM 3 times and the ignorant judges and and people actually try making a case for the crybabby. Look at each fight, especially the first one and you will see there was no possible way he should have received a draw. Pathetic! The second fight he won clearly, and the third he won by a wider margin. Pacquiao has been unbeatable this year and the last 3 yrs. He is the Fighter of the year bar none. This man has acted respectfully towards everyone, helps people in need, and praises God for everything. He treats people right, so people should stop trying to steal his his glory. Manny is the best of his time.

funny how haters saying pac and cotto doesn't belong there but had no problem with peterson being in the list. Last time i check it was peterson who got the gift decision cuz of his homeboy ref:deal

He deserves it. I have a feeling Ward is going to unbeaten for a long time.

 

This year has been a pretty poor one for the sport's best. Noone has done anything spectacular. Ward winning the Super Six is the best you can pick out. I think if B-Hop beat Dawson, he would have been the clear winner.
