...because as far as I am concerned, it was almost a total farce. As soon as the fighters were announced I was disappointed. I dont think it will be of any relevance in the future. I dont think people will acknowledge it as a great tournament. I dont even think any of them (bar Ward, but we'll see) will be H.O.F'ers.

Noone cares about it now, will get worse from this point on.

I liked the idea, and still do, but the way it was dealt with was far from professional in my opinion.

It will be remembered as a good tournemant that hopefully spawns copycats in other divisions.

It's wasn't supppsed to be some game changing event in boxing. Just a good idea that did what it was meant to.

    LOL No!!

It was meant to turn Abraham into a superstar. Was a complete failure in this regard.

Should have been single elimination, with names drawn at first to determine the who vs who part.

Taylor not being same quality as he was at MW, Abraham having no answer for longer fighters with movement, and Green / Bika / Johnson coming in as replacements... didn't constitute an actual 'Super' 6.

All that being said, Ward & Froch still deserve credit for going all the way.

Which division, if any, disregarding established greats like Pacquiao and Mayweather, has the potential to be a really good S6 tournament? :think

Terribly. Half the fighters that were originally in it ended up dropping out.

Calzaghe cum guzzlers will be still be crying about their heros best opponent, Kessler, getting totally outclassed by Ward.

According to them Kessler was going to sweep through the tournament, beating everyone with ease, proving himself as an elite pound for pound great which in turn would further prove how great Calzaghe was.

Now that Kessler has been exposed for what he is and Ward has been the one to sweep through the tournament, beating everyone with ease - the Calzaghe rimmers are saying the tournament was a load of ****.

This "S6" tournament gathered no1 in the division (Kessler) , no3 (Froch) , no4 (Taylor) , 1 middleweight (Abraham) and 2 prospects (Ward and Dirrel) . How the F is this the super six?!
