Colin 'Dynamo' Dunne vs Billy Schwer (WBU Lightweight Title)

Deserves it's own thread, if your bored or need a good fight to watch then watch this battle. WBU title has been knocked for years and obviously doesn't carry much significance in reality but it's produced some fine scraps and this fight goes to show titles don't matter it's the fighters who make the titles and these two would be in and around world title level today.

A real clash of styles with Dunne being a pressure fighter who lived up to 'Dyanmo' moniker he had skills to go with his style and workrate. Schwer a true fundamentally sound boxer who dug in when needed a real class operator.

How would these guys in your opinion do against Burns, Mitchell, Murray, Rees?.

 

Bloody good fight this, four rounds in and the class these guys shown so far is world level stuff. Dunne has superb variety, Schwer has such class and poise and he had a bad 3rd but adapted in 4th and dominated and showed such a vast array of shots.

Talking to myself here , It's that good i don't give a damn!.

Achilles thoughts on fight? forget title this was class fight.

I gave it to Dunne by 1, some rounds that are swing rounds which tomorrow would be given other way. Some class work really world class work IMO, Dunne was so crafty with his head movement and right hand. Schwer had lovely balance and timing and punch variation. I think the year off affected him in championship rounds but way he came back in round 12 was amazing and what a final round!.

Great fight and could of went either way really although Dunne was smart at timing the rounds and working when needed.
