There was nobody else. But just because a tournament is made in a poor division doesnt make the division or the opposition any better. The tournament was a hype job.

I think Ward would have struggled against Taylor in the beginning and Dirrell.

The tournament included evryone there was to include in the 168 LB division with the excpetion of Bute who will now seek to fight some of those participants ..Matter of fact he fights Glen Johnson after he loses to Froch but you want to knock the tourney ..Yeah OK ..

Tournament was major USA hype machine.
    Super six tournament?

More like "super three tournament" with a sprinkling of bums to liven it up.

Oh here we go. I watched the fight you ******, I had Dawson winning comfortably. That is reflected in the scores. Anyone can say "Oh I didn't feel he won", or, "I thought he struggled". But the FACT is, Dawson won the fight with the crisper combinations, better movement and accurate punching. I thought that's how fights were scored. :huh

That's why he re matched him and blew Johnson out of the water. And your "quote" is not an admittance of anything, just what he had heard, stop reaching.

24 title fights against 90% no named competition, AT HOME, FACT. :deal
Oh, and butthurt is an oft used ******* phrase, you may not want to overuse it.

No, but over half of Calzaghe's KO percentage is rife with grievously early stoppages. Add to that, as bad as he beat up Lacy, he STILL DIDN'T STOP HIM. :rofl

No one said that, but Hopkins didn't want to fight Dawson and neither did Calzaghe. I think it was a smart move, cause Dawson had and has the tools to spoil both of their styles. Take the Calzaghe blinders off and you might see. If not, have a nice day.

Bute & Andrade were both top 5 SMW's at the time, and under contract with HBO.

Taylor was done and would not have been able to lay a hand on Ward, and Ward WANTS to fight Dirrell. It'll be great cause people like you won't be able to say **** when he beats him up.

...because obviously, the Dirrell bros are more deserving of a shot than Bute. :p

Where did I 'knock him for fighting the best'?

He's making it sound like it was all Bute's choice to wait on the sidelines.

    Not the case, buddy.

Well, I agree with Ward on the basis that he feels he should have fought Dirrell in the tournament. It would have been one of the best fights, imo. For that reason, if Ward wants to fight a man he should've already fought, I cannot blame him.

I dont even know what YOU'RE going on about. Its a matter of fact that the tournament was a joke. Its also a matter of fact that Butes resume is poor. It seems to me that you have mistaken me for a bute fan.

Hypothetically, if Kessler wanted shot Taylor or Allan Green after he wins the WBO title, you'd be ok with it?

No i'd like to see Dirrell v Ward. It would be an interesting match-up. But even after beating B-Level Dirrell AND B-Level Bute, Andre Ward will still be just another good boxer. Not a great and not special like patriotic americans make him out to be.
