Chavez. One of the most well rounded fighters I have ever seen.

edit: didn't see Pernell Whitaker, who would've gotten my vote. Better than Hopkins and Mayweather on the inside, better than them on the outside as well, all the while having a brilliant defense and great punch output/arsenal of punches. He and Chavez are my top two in terms of versatility, with Hopkins, Mayweather, Holyfield, and Barrera coming next. I need to see Ward in against a wider variety of styles and higher class fighters than Kessler and Froch (who are decent, but no where near being great fighters) before I applaud his versatility in an all-time sense.

Honestly I think it's gotta be Sweet Pea, if he had power he'd have had an A+ in every facet of the game, his style was all encompassing and there really wasn't a flaw to be found.

He could do it all, the definition of versatile.

Whitaker was superior to Mayweather from every range. He should be winning this poll, unless everybody who voted for Mayweather did so by accident the way I voted for Chavez.

B Hop has fought and defeated every style in such a long span, added to the fact of his own style adjustment as he's aged I have to go with him

Well I think Whitaker was better than Floyd fighting in the pocket, but one advantage Mayweather had over him is that Floyd is better on the outside. He uses his legs really well and has a generous reach advantage to aid him. Pea was only small so I think that's why he wasn't as good on the outside as Mayweather.

Its probably between Hopkins & Mayweather. Only its hard to say who because Hopkins has been in the ring with better fighters so of coarse he's gonna of been asked more questions in terms of whether he can adapt.

Pea was a better backfoot outboxer than Mayweather. Best jab in history for my money.
