Exactly. Some fighters cant win in a certain division. G Johnsons resume at SMW is a joke but world class at LHW

I do have you on ignore, but on occasion, I check to see if you have at least grown some brains, or the ability to discuss anything without using boxrec to make the post for you. You haven't. Same ol' Failey. :yep

It's cowardice to have a ****in moron like you on ignore? What does it mean about a popinjay poof like you who posts to people whom you know have you on ignore? ****in idiot.

    dumb ass

who the **** is joey spina?? hahaha so ****ing what.... scott pemberton?
ok so manfredo beat 2 guys that never had a big win their entire career.
scott pemberton or joey spina future champions?? no. Pascal won the WBC 175 title and lost to an undefeated Froch for the WBC 168...which is 10 times more impressive than Manfredo beating an undefeated Joey ****ing Spina....

    Okay let's get this straight..
    Froch has beaten: Pascal(home), Taylor(away), Abraham(Away, a good win, nothing more), Johnson(away), Dirrell(home).
Bute has beaten: Andrade(Home, needed to cheat), Johnson(home).. Well that is pretty much it.. Bute has some wins over C/B- level fighters like Brinkly, Magee or Mendy..

Just because Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell didn't do anything at the weight, doesn't make them lesser fighters.. I would favor Pascal and Dirrell over everyone who Bute has fought..

While I agree that Pascal is a superior fighter to Johnson and Andrade, he was ABSOLUTE **** at 168.

He struggled with the likes of Brian Norman and Omar Pittman, let that sink in for a moment.

He also ducked Edison Miranda. :patsch

He had the worst gameplan possible in the Froch fight. He was trying to outslugge him. :rofl

I love Pascal, I bet on him to beat Dawson when he was a 4 to 1 underdog. But that was at LHW.

Pascal is a good fighter now, but at 168 he was just meh.

    According to the bailey logic:-

    Martinez KO11 Barker > Martinez KO2 Williams
    - Barker won titles at MW but Paul Williams did nothing at the weight

    Vitali KO10 Sosnowski > Vitali TKO10 Adamek
    - Sosnowski has a better resume at HW than Adamek

Marvin Hagler TKO4 Vito > Hagler KO3 Hearns
    - Vito has a better MW resume than Hearns

Aaron Pryor KO4 Cervantes > Pryor TKO14 Arguello
    - Cervantes has a better LWW resume than Arguello

    Pacquiao UD12 Clottey > Pacquiao MD12 Marquez
    - Clottey has better WW resume than Marquez

    Hatton UD12 Phillips > Hatton KO4 Castillo
    - Phillips has a better resume at LWW than Castillo

This can go on, Froch vs Reid/Johson, Bute vs Brinkley/Johnson, Hopkins vs Joppy/Trinidad......

Bailey still trying to downgrade Andre Ward's achievements i see? Why are you afraid he'll surpass the mighty Calzaghe? No wonder you love Bute he reminds me of someone with his **** defences.

His undefeated record gives Bailey a hard on. He can't figure out why guys on boxrec with undefeated records don't get called the best of all time??????

I just showed you at SMW, Manfredo did more than Pascal. I never rated any of Manfredos SMW wins but HE DID DO MORE AT THE WEIGHT THAN PASCAL. Get it.
Now as for Pascal winning a world LHW title, lets not get too wrapped up. Some fighters cant compete at a certain weight ie
Calzaghe beat Veit who at SMW beat Braehmer who became a LHW world champ
Calzaghe beat Starie who at SMW beat Woods who became a LHW world champ
Calzaghe beat Sheika who at SMW beat Johnson who became a LHW world champ
Calzaghe beat Mitchell who at SMW drew with Girard who became a LHW world champ.

G Johnson was competitve at MW and world class at LHW but was only able to be a journeyman at SMW.
Some fighters cant do it in a certain division and Pascal is one who did nothing at SMW, less than Manfredo even

Dont try and go according to my logic dummy :patsch.
I havent read your post closely because you are going off subject and not referring to the fighters in question.
I gave you fighters that Froch beat
Pascal, Dirrell, Taylor, Johnson, Abraham etc, and none of them have done a thing at SMW. NOTHING. Understand now, for the 2nd time. NOTHING. Live with it and except the facts

Froch has fought better opposition. But Bute has performed better against his cans and their one common opponent.

Bute has beaten higher rated SMWs than Froch. Andrade was #3 SMW when Bute beat him, which is higher rated than anyone Froch has beaten at SMW.
Froch hasnt beaten a fighter that has done anything at SMW, where Bute has beaten Berrio who was a world champ and Bika who has done more than the SMWs I listed for Froch. The most accomplished SMW Froch has beaten was B Magee and Bute beat him also.
    Just a point

Whether Martinez had done anything at MW he was still a tougher opponent for Pavlik than almost anyone else.

Although Trinidad had done nothing at MW he was still a tough opponent for Hopkins.

    .......

Bute has looked better against level C and a couple of level B fighters than Froch has.

But Bute has not met a single A level fighter. Froch has met 3 or 4 A level fighters. Ward, Kessler, Pascal and possibly Dirrell (personally I think Dirrell will prove to be an A level fighter, but the question mark is his psyche).

Sure, Froch lost two of those fights. But that is the risk when meeting A level fighters. A risk Bute has never taken.

The super six demonstrated the importance of fighting abroad. Frochs two defeats were to A level fighters AWAY. So Froch has taken all the risks that Bute has not.

I like Bute of course, but I am against spinning his carreer because that won't stand up to scrutiny in the future anyway. I would much rather have Bute fight the very best - at home and abroad. win some and lose some..... rather than sit in Canada and meet second tier fighters in an endless row. Sure we can then try to spin that by using age, ko percentage of the opponents, or accomplishment at SMW (like you do), but in the long run that spin won't hold up anyway.
