Im surprised Viloria wasnt mentioned after showing his dynamic speed against the future ATG Seguriria. Viloria is p4p # 3 on my list and coincidentally my 3rd favorite fighter. Viloria speed is so furious that Seguriria didnt even know Viloria hit him and broke his orbital bone until his head swelled up. Viloria will be p4p #1 when Pac and then Nonito retire :deal

 

He has been around for many years and was considered shot and done. Look at him now. Same can be said about Arce. I thought he was done years ago. Even HBO stopped showcasing him. He gets a second life and is tearing up all comers. Even moving up to 122 and beating a undefeated young Vasquez and then moves back down to 118 to win a title and avenge a prior fight. Pacquaio's hand speed isn't that great. he has short arms and flurries a lot it gives the illusion of him having great hand speed. Slow mo some of the exchanges from his fight with Clottey, and you will see that Clottey actually has faster hands. Pacquaio just throws punches in bunches with those short arms of his.

 

Mayweather's handspeed is well above average, but not on that upper echelon of handspeed. Judah's hands were noticeable faster than Mayweather's in their fight. Mayweather has impeccable timing to go with the speed he does have though.

 

Pacquaio and Floyd probably shouldn't be on that list. Neither has faster hands then Khan, Judah, Donaire, or Jones Jr., or Rigodeux. Pacquio was noticeably slower than Clottey when they would exchange, and Mayweather was noticeably slower than Judah in their fight also. While both Pac and Mayweather are above average in terms of hand speed, part of it is illusion. Mayweather has great timing, and Pac throw short armed flurries in bunches. Also Pac fiends take note, that anybody who fights slow Mexicans their whole career will look like they have handspeed also.
