Thank you for the explanation. I don't know though.....do you really think his resume even comes close to that of Arguello's? To me, it's not even in the zip code.
anarci would be better qualified to put it together. However, I'll start by saying that Juan Manuel Marquez is not Mexican enough. Counter-punching is cowardly. He comes in at number ten. Despite my personal preference, I might add, I'm trying to be objective.
Ruiz doesn't belong on the list. He clinched too much, and that's cowardly. Besides, real Puerto Ricans don't come from Massachussetts :deal
Yeah, yeah. JMM's style may not be Mexican enough but it's clearly his nature to be Mexican, being that he is, well...Mexican. Not many are going to fight back after a first round like he had in Pacquiao I. It's like he's trying not be so Mexican because he really is that Mexican. That's all academic though. Esparragoza is clearly the most Hispanic of that list of Hispanics.
What if he's just afraid of unleashing his full Mexican on opponents? With great power comes great responsibility, and all that.
Yeah, PR are not hispanic. What's the other half? Also, people born (and raised) in the States but of hispanic/mexican origin prefer the term Chicano to either.
She's half Puerto-Rican (mom's side) and English-German on her dad's side. She was born and raised in Brooklyn. She's a law professor. If we ever get divorced, I am so ****ed.
Arguello's is better, but I don't know about Locche's being THAT inferior. Locche has: Antonio Cervantes Eddie Perkins Manuel Alvarez Carlos Hernandez Emiliano Villa Jaime Gine LC Morgan Brown (old, admittedly) Urbina Fuji Lopopolo Pruitt Henrique Ortiz (Antonio) Then he has draws with the likes of Carlos Ortiz & Ismael Laguna as well (although most think Ortiz clearly beat him). Arguello has: Olivares Mancini Limon Chacon Castillo Navarette Watt Boza-Edwards Kobayashi Escalera Leon Ramirez (I count this as a loss for Arguello) Hernandez Legra (old) Pascualito Gainigan Costello Fernandez Going by boxrec more than solid proof, Locche seems the more consistent (and hence more dominant). But again, that's largely speculative not having seen many of Locche's fights. I think I'm giving Locche a lot of the benefit of the doubt here. In any case, Locche is # 39 all time for me, and Arguello is # 43, so they're neck and neck. You could definitely make a reasonable case for Arguello being higher.
