If Bute isn't worthy of a shot at Ward, how is Dre Dirrell worthy of a shot at Bute?

keep in mind bute does not go after his opponent to connect with body shots, he uses it when they come in or trow a punch, so even if they are a movers i don't think it would change much, for body shots anyways.

 

please name one fighter who called bute out, where ever may the fight have bin, and pls stick to same division, light heavy will come later.

 

Isn't this about Anthony Dirrell for Ward, and not Andre??

Let's get something straight...

Take a deep breath, read the following, then think a minute about it:
What's best for boxing? What's best for the fans?

If you still think that an unification between the two best of the division should not happen, the next question is: Are you really a fan of the sport?

 

I'd be very surprised if Ward doesn't fight Anthony next so its all a moot point.
Bute should be grateful that Ward is throwing out his name, which in and of itself
helps to build a future fight. I would love Dirrell-Bute.

 

Dirrell went to England and beat Froch in his hometown. That in and of itself is better than anything Bute has done in his entire career.

 

Ward is actually correct from a business standpoint.

He see's Bute as his Tommy Hearns, and its a fair and honest assessment. He's the clear #2 SMW in the world, and he's a larger draw than Ward. He also looks like the toughest stylistic assignment at 168.

Ward has just come off, essentially, making his name in boxing. Bute has been on HBO a few times himself. These two guys would make a massive fight, but not as massive as it COULD be.

Bute stands a better shot at stopping Froch than Ward ever did(Styles and attributes). Imagine Ward taking the guys at 168 he hasn't beaten, or rematching a few Super 6ers and schooling them, true to form, while Bute stops Froch and ADirrell in the meantime.

That fight becomes worth about 2-3 million more dollars, and possibly superfight status.

He isn't ducking him. He just recognizes him as the divisional nemesis that he is, the guy who made his name around NOT being in the tourney Ward just won, and he wants the fight to simmer.

Ward and Bute aren't losing for awhile. The only guy I think can beat either is the other. And in a year or two, the fight will be even bigger, and I think for both guys, the best is yet to come.

 

He is a better fighter than Bute and he has a better resume.
