Pretty amazing that Tackleberry and Wak are so close in the standings as they are. One win and five KO´s apart :yikes

With Rubio and Salido not counting, My total is 73 as you wrote. Still not sure wheter I have 17 or 18 defeats though :think

That one I've gotta disagree on. As a staunch Molina supporter, bring it ON! :deal

Few guys more deserving of the shine he'd get for beating Kirkland now (which is a hell of lot more than Ishida got for steamrolling him in a round when he was fat & sans Anna)

haha, no I totally hear you on that.... it really is a good proper fight, its just as a kirkland fan, seeing him getting written off (by me included for the most part) and have him getting fed to angulo, travel to angulos own castle and take him out, I just kinda wanted to see that rewarded with something.... Kirkland vs Canelo, Kirkland vs Margarito, ect,

Instead hes thrown in a fight against a good but relatively unkown fighter, and beating him just isnt going to make much of a blip on the major boxing radar but poses a huge threat to derail the momentum he just made for himself.

But... I completely understand that if I take my fan glasses off, its a good fight and one that molina also deserves.

It is what it is, and if the fight goes through I will be holding my breath until its over and hope this wasnt a horrible but gutsy move by Kirkland.

It really is insane isnt it.... Id have to check but not sure if its ever been so close, so near the end of the year. Tight, tight comp this year.

Dont worry malden ill be checking into it... and Im going to be counting the salido fight because everyone picked him to win anyways.

And as it currently stands, the winner is to face Vanes Martirosyan in a Final-eliminator. Even despite the fact that Angulo - Kirkland was a semifinal-eliminator :-(

Seems like the WBC are really trying to keep live bodies away from Canelo :verysad

Just like Jr, who hopefully soon fights either Rubio or Martinez!

See thats just it, I see this (right or wrongly) as a way to get all these guys to beat eachother up and keep eachother busy, maybe Im just being a boxing conspiracy nut

I guess thats the difference between having things handed to you and actually having to claw your way to the top, I just hope as a kirkland fan that hes able to do it, as im sure molina fans are hoping he can as well.

Yeah, it really does seem like they want the threats to remove each other :D

I agree. It is sickening to see such pampering. Canelo fighting a Welterweight to win his title, and Jr. facing Manfredo in a defense :patsch
To see Molina and/or Kirkland getting to the top would be very nice and inspring. Another one is Carson Jones. They sure haven't been gifted anything :good

Jr. - Rubio seems on for 2/4 :happy

I had Jr. loosing to Zbik and the Manfredo-fight even, before Manfredo ****ed up. I really hope Rubio KTFO Jr.

Rubio - The Hypejob Demolisher? :yep

Thats a good fight for Jr, one that needs to happen.

I have found myself a soft spot for Jr (I know I know ) and it was about time he had a fight like this.... hopefully it stays like that from here on out.

    Fair enough :D

I agree. Fight top guys or drop the belt.

I will be cheering for Rubio though. Derailing both Lemieux and Jr. would be a nice feat :deal
