I really felt this was a bad decision.

Marquez won 8 rounds, and Pacquiao knew he'd been well beaten. Marquez landed a lions share of the hard shots in the fight, made Pacquiao miss quite a bit, and easily did the most damage. This completely reversed the dynamic of the previous two, in which Pacquiao did the most damage and landed the harder punches, and JMM made his best argument with the amount of clean, sharp shots landed. Pacquiao walking to his corner dejected after the fight says it all.

But he seems like he is willing to do a 4th fight, and thats a brave, brave thing.

Pacquiao is all heart and a great, true champion. Giving Marquez another chance(Though he'll likely get robbed again) is the right thing to do, and I give him credit.

I won't be watching, though. Breaks my heart to watch a guy fight brilliantly and get the better of it, and have it taken from him for political reasons. That isn't what the sport is supposed to be about, but it is what it has become, and it is a horrible thing.

Marquez landed the hard(est) shots in the fight, but there weren't that many. I could count on one hand how many flush right hands he actually landed. Pacquiao landed more punches in the fight. And the fact is both guys were missing and getting most of their shots blocked, with Pacquiao it just looks more obvious, but he threw a lot more and consequently landed a higher number of punches. Why do people discount the clean right hook counters he landed throughout the fight, (see my avatar) or the flush straight left hands .. I bet you he landed just as many clean power shots with his left hand, if not moreso then Marquez did with his right.

Nah, the boxing community in general. You know, the majority of people who watched the fight and aren't Pacquiao fans.

A JMM win is accepted. :deal

Some day you'll come to terms with it.

PAC got OWNED and the funniest part is the Ending like a Champ MARQUEZ el Papa De pacquiao raises his hand... While PAC runs back to his corner with his head down and his people with sadness in their eyes look at PAC who is in astonishment of the boxing lesson he just received by a 40 year old light weight and bows his head in sadness knowing he lost that fight...but PAPA arum saved him. **** it the boxing fans and historians will remember JMM as el Papa De PACQUIAO... of Course PAC will rank higher ATG wise, but the fact remains..

JMM is the Pilipino Boogeyman, and el Papa DEL PACQUIAO.

Doc, Pacquiao ranking higher alltime than Marquez remains to be seen.

If Pacquiao gets obliterated, thoroughly embarrassed and knocked out by Mayweather, history may show Marquez the better fighter.

There is still fight in both of them. Lets see what happens of Pacquiao fights Mayweather. Alot of legacy points ride in that fight for Pacquiao.
