I think Mitchell's hand speed, firepower, punch output, foot speed, and power would overwhelm Fury. I see this fight ending by devastating knockout anywhere between the 2nd and 4th rounds. Most likely, Fury would be unconscious, and on the floor for many minutes after being KO'd.

There's the outside chance that Fury could repel Mitchell by landing long right hands: we saw how Ibragimov tagged Seth. But I doubt that Tyson could land his right. He just doesn't have the hand speed. This disadvantage would hinder Tyson's ability to use his jab effectively, too.

Mitchell is very, very quick, and he throws his punches in bundles, mixing up beautiful combinations to the head and body. The slow moving Fury would be a sitting duck for these blows, which are delivered with whiplash speed and considerable strength.

Possibly Fury could postpone the inevitable, brutal KO ending by clinching Mitchell. Fury is definitely a very effective clincher (as we saw in his recent bouts). But clinching could only save Fury for a little time. Seth's massive advantages in hand and foot speed, athleticism, and power would sooner or later get the job done.

Most telling of all, is Fury's lack of durability. That would be his doom in this fight. We have already seen Fury seriously hurt by Chisora and Firtha. Pajkic -- who is a fairly light puncher -- even floored Fury.

It is impossible to envision Fury standing up to Mitchell's right hand. The punches that bludgeoned Ibragimov (note that Ibragimov has a brick chin, having been floored only once in his life, and that by a Vasilli Jirov body shot in the amateurs; this is the only reason he remained upright against Mitchell) would put Fury in a coma.

MITCHELL WINS BY DEVASTATING, CLEAN KO, SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THE 2ND AND 4TH ROUND.

Fury is decent and has the best individual win, however Mitchell has the second best and, let's be honest, he would destroy Fury if they fought today.

They're both ****. But to my knowledge Seth Mitchell hasn't been rocked by any cans lately so I pick him.

I've seen some of Mitchell's recent fights, and he gets hit way too much. I don't rate Fury like that, but i think he'd stop the american. Seth's not the biggest fighter, and his head movement is not very good. Tyson is vulnerable to getting hurt, but i reckon he'll recover quickly if he gets put down.

I fancy my chances at KOing Fury and im 5'7'' and 144 lbs

Fury's Chin is way too shaky and defense too leaky to see Fury winning this, although I'd probably put money on a mid round Fury stoppage somewhere between rd 4-7 with Fury getting up of the canvas to flurry his way to a brittish stoppage.

Fury's best win is over Chisora, who would have won except that he was hopelessly out of shape. The Chisora of the Helenius fight would have KO'd Fury.

It would, exactly what the HW division needs.

Contenders willing to fight each other and put on great fights.

Seth KO's Fury at this point IMO.
