ok, maybe p. williams is pushing it a little, but martinez yes. I have always said that Kessler is 1 dimensional, in tha he only throws very good jabs. Don't get me wrong having a jab is key and some people can win with that alone but Kessler is not one of those people. Once you figure that jab out and take it away, he is now predictable and easy to beat.

I say paul williams just b/c of the quantity of punches, I don't think bute has ever facd that kind of pressure. Paul may have a longer reach, which can pose some problems for Bute. Froch would be a good fight, but he too is not great.

Why doesn't Bute go fight pascal, chad dawson, demand the ward fight, not just talk but go get it. He doesn't have to b/c he is protected. I don't blame him, we just stating his reality as a montreal based fighter.

Williams? People on here compare Bute to Gatti?!

Acid was cool in the 90's dude...

    Good luck with that.

On dirait un fan de Pascal qui déteste Bute et qui n'a pas encore digéré le 2e combat Pascal-Hopkins. :deal

    Weird indeed.

Miranda, Pudwill, Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham. All in California. :D

No worries, Ward sells like Money May over there. :huh

Look at you with the capital 'IF' regarding San Jose... it's like Bute's not fighting at home in Quebec.

I see Bute's billboard on les cage aux sports and it makes me laugh. He is so crap. i hate when the media tries to deceive the public and I hate when people just jump on a bandwagon. Remember when I say this guy will exposed and badly.

Are you saying Quebec is not his home. Do you want to get more specific, as in Montreal....?

Take all but 4 of his Quebec fights away. He still makes Ward look like a road warrior.

Facts are facts. Bute fights over twice as many of his fights in his home area.

Ward's point is valid...... BUte 90% of fights in hometowns. Ward, 32%. OUCH

Ward is at home in the US. Bute is at home in Romania and in Quebec (the province). Not disputing that.

Look at your 'facts' and tell me the last time Ward fought outside the US, his home. ;)

This is a business - Fact
Ward can choose whatever he wants since its his jobs and he wants to make the most of it - Fact
As a fan we can want the best fight out there, but we have to understand that this is business - Fact
    Bute is unworthy - Bull****
Fans that think that no 1 and 2 fighting to unify the title is bad - Disgraceful

You have no concept of the US obviously.

Flying from California to AC if more distance and more culturally different than going from Britain to Germany.

****, Atlantic City is just about as close to Europe as it is to Oakland........

yo drozzy, I am trying to say that every time Montreal gets a prospect or potential to be an ok fighter, we tend to hype these guys up like they are the greatest things to land in this city. These guys now could not ever get in the ring with the likes of Hiltons in their young days, Ouellette in his young days Elvis and Bazil Trench who most people have no clue who they were., the Grant brothers. Even none of these guys came close to achieving what gatti did. Bute is being hyped up like the next great thing. I remember when gatti fought mayweather, i was at La cage aux sports on Rene levesque and everyone reallt felt like Gatti was going to win against a real a level fighter. What happened, he got exposed like a baby to crack. Bute, will endure the same fate as gatti did when he steps up if he ever does.

weed is the only thing I have tried, too scared to try acid, but some people on this site are definately on it.

Ok just to get it straight, you think that the cultural difference between east coast and west coast are bigger than between UK and Germany?

A little bit of hyperbole there, but it's in the ballpark.

Well, its not a little of something, the answer is no.

Look, just answer this. When in any sports, Olympic (amateur) or professional somebody from anywhere in USA is competing against somebody from any other country. Who will the majority of the population will cheer for?

Of course if a Irish is fighting a US, some Irish living in US will side with the Irishman, but overall, whatever they come from they will cheer and side for the countryman, the guy with the US flags with him.

    Do you deny this?

I think Bute is a good fighter. I think he has a chance to beat Ward. I stll favor Ward, but Bute has a chance.

The only people that overrate Bute are his dip**** fanbse.
