Will COTTO Be an ATG (?)

  1. Remains to be seen... the guy has 2 losses and both of those losses just might be suspect to begin with.

Margarito was never good to begin with. The only top level fighters he beat were Cintron and Cotto. BEfore that he lost to Paul Williams and Daniel Santos. Then got destroyed by Mosley.

Mayweather doesnt do business with top rank anyways. He made 20 million fighting Oscar de La Hoya a guy who Margarito would never be able to carry his gym bag.

How many losses Cheato got again ***? :rofl
You were talking about fear. I said how could Floyd fear a man with 5 losses who got destroyed by Mosley. That make sense to you son?

Mayweather is 42-0. 7 time World Champion. 18-0 World title fights. 13-0 against World Champions. Junior Lightweight, Lightweight, Junior Welterweight, Welterweight, and Junior Middleweight CHAAAAAMPION OF THE WOOOOORLD.

Pretty Boy Floyd AKA MONEY!!!! Mayweather!!!!!

:yep **** a Miguel Knee Cotto and Plaster of Paris Margarito.

Shut the **** up you idiot. Boxing exists outside of Floyd and Manny you nuthugging piece of ****. Cotto beat a much fresher Mosley than Floyd and was a top 10 P4P fighter himself after consistently taking on fighters ranked at or near the top of their division. Above all, he's a memorable fighter with balls who gave exciting fights.

He has great fame, and thus, belongs in the hall of fame, regardless of how butthurt you are people criticize Floyd of ducking him.

Make a poll and see how many people rate Cotto as a HOF caliber fighter before embarrassing yourself and the sport again by shitting on accomplished fighters all over the internet. Your punk ass never boxed and should be banned for trollin as hard as you do.

When Mosley fought Cotto he was coming off a decision victory over Collazo. When Mosley fought Mayweather he was coming off a dominating win over the so-called Welterweight champion. And was considered a top 3 Welterweight in the world.

Cotto barely beat Mosley. Had to box off the back foot during the latter rounds to secure a 1 point victory.

Mayweather besides a minute in the 2nd round, controlled every second of the fight.

So was Mayorga. HE aint getting in the hof.

No. Only guys with the level of fame of Gatti get in the hall. Cotto doesnt have near the fame, nor near the resume. No matter how much you ***tards want it.

You aint **** nucca. If you are an example of the type of dumbasses New York is producing on the boxing scene, no wonder yall cant produce a credible champ.

  6. Even Mayweather himself, would not be allowed to be this close to his own balls... HOW do you do it?

Did Ellerbe hook you up with an all access pass to Money's balls? You make no real sense with your propaganda and trying to get creative when making up excuses why Mayweather's wins are legit and Cotto's are not...

"Mayweather fought a Mosley who just destroyed Margarito" < **** like this... makes you a *** on boxing forums. Why not just say you like a little semen in your coffee?

  7. He is almost as stupid as his hero. He actually makes no sense, but still more sense than Floyd.

I think clearing out the current JMW division makes him an atg, IMO. That basically means beating Lara, Kirkland and Canelo. Lara and Kirkland are unlikely as he's already said he's only interested in really big fights and they just don't have the PPV fan bases to "qualify". With that said, beating Canelo and Pacman would then make him an atg...IMO.

Cotto's almost ready to be considered an ATG. Maybe a few more title defenses against solid opposition to cement his place.

Considering how loosely ATG is thrown around these days you could do a lot worse than Cotto.

Needs a couple more credible wins to become a certified ATG.

Wow can't believe MichiganWarrior said that Cotto doesn't have the fame or resume of Gatti. Gatti made no where near the amount of money Cotto has. And no way does Cotto loose to Angel Manfredy and Micky Ward. Plus I also have Cotto beating Baldomir.

HOF for sure, 3 div champ, has something like 14 champs (former, ex, current) on his resume, fought everyone.

    Not an ATG tho.

Neither Gatti nor Cotto have the resume to get in the Hall. Cotto has a better resume then Gatti. ALthough Gatti won belts in 2 weight classes and won minor belts in 4, which shows you how easy it is in this era to be a multi-division champ if you are matched correctly. And Cotto was matched correctly. Ala not fighting a good opponent at 154 yet and never beating the champ in any weight class he's been at. But to compare Cotto's fame to Gatti's is laughable.

It's not laughable bro, I do think they both belong in the HOF. They are just not ATG. Like I said if Cotto were to beat Pac and Floyd then yes, but I highly doubt it. You are right it is easy to be a multi-division champ. But Pac/Floyd/DLH were also handpicking fights to get more belts.
