Let me break your post a little. "Bute only looks good against medicore fighters. yes he looks to be quick - against medicore fighters, and looks to have a good body attack- against medicore fighters, and looks good in taking a punch, all against medicore fighters. "

yes he looks to be quick - against medicore fighters, and looks to have a good body attack- against medicore fighters -> he looked better then Ward against medicore fighters (Miranda, Bika); He looked better then Froch against medicore fighters (Jhonson).

and looks good in taking a punch, all against medicore fighters-> Bute have been taken blows from the Bangers of the division : Berrio, Miranda, Bika, Jhonson

What the **** are you taling about?!?! Bute does NOT have more hype in him then the rest, Ward and others.

Yes smartass, so if Bute fights in Quebec City instead of Montreal, that also count's as not being home-fights ?
How about when he fights in Bucharest, Romania ? Or Galati, Romania ?

Bute's been around a bit longer than Ward. He's had a belt roughly twice as long and made more than twice as many defences. He is clearly the best SMW that Ward has not yet faced. ANy talk of needing to 'earn' a shot at Ward is laughable.

Only in the last month, did Ward earn a shot at Bute (without the Froch victory, this conversation wouldn't even be happening).

And Bute gave their one common opponent (Bika) much more of a beating than Ward did.

It's one thing to delay this in the hopes of building hype.

It's quite laughable to talk about Bute "needing to earn'" a shot.

All of Wards fights have been in the US.

Bute has fought in various Canadian cities, in a couple of Romanian cities, and the three you didn't mention, Atlantic city, Boynton Beach and Boston.

I think those last three represent more international travel than all of Ward's combined.

    OUCH, OUCH.

Im not convinced. Calzaghe had around half of his fights in foreign countries to where he lived and was the away fighter at least 6 times I can think of and on neutral places at least 2 times I can think of, oh yeah and he beat Bika clearer than Ward who was getting smashed around in round 12

    Well that is true.
Kessler especially and Froch also have been very good when it has come to travelling.
It would be interesting to see how either perform when the away fighter.
American SMWs seem to often crumble when fighting in Europe. I guess Wards team had looked at the stats and realised they would be better suited to stay at home and get every other fighter to travel

I bet that none of those fights was promoted by the opponents promoter and that neiter had a patriotic crowd yelling for the opponent.

    Comprend?
