Andre Direll for sure.he is fighting Darryl Cunningham in 2 days. Why the hell would you schedule your comeback with a lefty if you don't have bigger plans?!

I really hope it winds up being Hopkins.

I know it's a risky proposition for Bute because if he wins, people (not me) will say that Hopkins is 47 and was old and shot. If he loses, he will likely never be quite the same.

That said, I'm extremely interested in seeing this fight.

Do you think Bute would sooner face a soft touch (like a Brinkley) at 168 rather than face Hopkins at 175?

I really hope It will be Froch. So I can rub it in your nose later.
YOU and other have made it the Most Desired fight, I bet even more than Bute-Ward for most of Bute's fans out here.

    Ok.

Different surroundings, food, accomodation to go with at least a week to adjust to timezone and hence a disruptive training.

Yeah. Proper scheduling should do the trick. I reckon at least a month in these new surroundings should do it. Right?

Bute doesn't have that luxury anymore.
He is 31 and badly needs a big fight, for himself and for his fans. He's been quite desperate and it's showing. He made offers to Stieglitz,Pavlik,Kessler, the only good boxers outside of Super Six. Some of those offers is more than they deserve, some of those offers are rumored to be bigger than his own purse. He's been yelling in newspapers that he is willing to travel to Oakland, New York, Vegas and Atlantic City.
If Hopkins and Froch will fail he'll go for Andre Dirrell who I think might accept. The Andrade-Don George mandatory bugs me a little.

If Bute doesn't get Froch I hope he accepts Andre Dirrells challenge. I'd love to see Bute take out what's left of his heart.

So you think if it comes down to facing a guy like Brinkley at 168 or Hopkins at 175, that he will indeed the challenge from B-Hops?

With the exception for the fight In Romania when it was about 2 weeks I think he did the chance with 1 month or a little over.

Dirrell has publicly challenged Bute. Lots of possibilities now for Lucian. Froch, Dirrell, Ward, Hopkins. If Interbox cannot make a big fight now they never can.

No doubt in my mind. The questions I ask myself are:
Could they reach an agreement that are fair for both sides.
I think Bute might refuse to go up at 175 for example, because he's scared that could not make 168 again. If you look at his face between fights he's pretty chubby. Bute probably walk at about 185, I remember someone telling me that in the promo for Showtime that he looked like a Heavyweight.

Interbox should be mentally under pressure and even give more advantages then they normally would and willing to accept more things than they did previously, but the weight might not, because is essential and they will still fight for the essential things.

Think a bit what Froch promoter said, Hearn I think it's his name. That it was the fastest and easiest negotiation ever and you'll realize where Bute and Interbox stands. They probably wanted Ward the most, even tho he was the most dangerous guy, but they've been shut out from the start. And yes if you look from Ward perspective it makes sense. The fight would only grow bigger.

i don't think so.Ward is not ppv material,he will never be.The only way this fight grows any bigger is if Bute become a big draw in US like he is in Canada and that's very unlikely
