its not going to proove anything! morales was past prime when he BEAT pacquiao and that was what? the start of 06'..

marquez is not prime either but hes not exactly a shell of hes former self like morales is

marquez would be better off taking lively compitition such as rios or khan (khan v marquez would be AAAMMAAZZZING!) **** even throw him in with bradley or peterson (depending on which one gets snapped up for the pac megaball)


would anyone here seriously give marquez any credit for taking out a shot to **** morales..

it's more of a sentimentality rather than proving oneself. closing the circle of the new fab four.

and morales is not as shot as he is advertized. i think he can still give marquez a few competitive rounds or minutes.

 

Well expect for Marquez to fight Morales! It doesn't mean **** to us if Marquez fights Morales but this fight in Mexico will sell ALOT and that is what both men would expect, money. Morales sound the most logical and economical choice for Marquez but then there is also Khan who can generate big money for Marquez too, even though this fight was offered to Marquez years back. Or there is Petterson who has just won several belts from Khan.

I don't think Timid Tim will fight Marquez because he might be afraid to lose the sweepstakes to Pac. If Timid Tim didn't fight Khan who was willing to give him 50/50 I doubt he will fight Marquez for less more money and same risk as Khan.

Rios and or Guerrero aren't even on Marquez list. High risk/low reward. Marquez wants to hang around for the retirement money, not to be a stepping stone. So expect Marquez to select his choices very carefully.

 

After comfterbly beating the consensus p4p nr1 fighter and looking like he cameup in weight the right way i did not really expect him to go back down to lightweight.
Not a single person i would favour over him at 140 currently.

I want to see JMM vs Rios or Morales though (but only if he gets the props he deserves if he wins not, not Morales was old and shot)
JMM vs Peterson would be pretty amazing too.

Marquez-Bradley/Morales

Winners face each other. If Marquez wins he would fight PAC. If Khan wins he would fight mayweather. Morales should retire and Bradley could fight PAC or Floyd

 

Morales deserves to fight the best after what he has done.....belts on the line

 

Manny v Peterson is my fear (Pac smokes him from the outside with combos, not letting Peterson inside)
Marquez v Morales wouldn't be a bad fight, actually but I would rather see Marquez get a shot at Peterson and his belts, he certainly deserves it.
Marquez v Bradley would be a good fight, and logical.

Manny needs to fight Ortiz/Berto Winner in HIS OWN ****ING WEIGHTCLASS or drop down to 140...**** this catchweight **** with the smaller guys, LAME PAC.
