Do you think if Adam booth posted on here? would he make claims like George Groves would beat Andre Ward or its a 50/50 fight? Olu is his own worst enemy.

Its not the way to act when your on a boxing website with many potential fans and you could quite easily drum up a bit of support, instead it seems he's alienating quite a few. Poor form really.

Yeah especially when 3-4 years ago probably around time Ajose fought Reid and Maloney was forced to give away tickets cos Ajose just doesn't sell tickets it's not wisest thing to do coming on here spouting bollocks.

Booth's comments last week about Groves were brilliant.

"It frightens me how little he knows and how much he's got to do. I've got no problem stating what his weaknesses are at the moment. I'm telling everyone that if you fight George, look for him with the right hand because you find him."

Bit of psychology there from Booth, not stating anything unknown but letting the kid know it needs to be stopped.

Got to be honest, hardly "brilliant" tactics from Booth. He'd be better spending time telling Groves that rather than everyone else too.

    Got to agree.

Thats hardly a masterstroke. It might be true and it might be awfully honest, but it really doesn't achieve that much since he be telling Groves this in private rather than boosting the confidence of any future opponents.

Sometimes that's the problem when coaches/trainers start to think a bit to much. Trying to be smart with a mans career isn't good practice.

It does seem a bit strange of Booth to admit that, no doubt its for a reason though. :think

Maybe it's subterfuge and Booth thinks it will encourage opponents to get right-hand happy. Seems stupid when Groves is open to the right hand.

It's sorta reverse psychology i think, try make Groves more aware of it. I dunno if it's a good idea though..

They're probably trying to get 'advanced' and work on counters to the right hand. Y'know what the Dark Lord is like.

I reckon a certain Mr DeGale ears perked up when he heard that, lucky for Groves James is still trying to master left from right and right from wrong and even his arsehole from his elbow, so George should be all right.
